From the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL
Report by CJ Blaze of WrestlingNewsWorld.com

The Kickoff starts with Renee Young, Booker T, and Peter Rosenberg on the panel. Dasha is in the social media lounge as Sami Zayn will be interviewed later on.

We take a look at Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Dolph Ziggler first. The panelists are excited for the debut of Shinsuke. They call it the most anticipated debut in recent memory.

Last Tuesday on WWE.com: Tye Dillinger tells Renee he's excited to be back in Chicago. Aiden English interrupts him as payback for Tye interrupting his beautiful signing recently. Tye hands him a tissue and says "try not to cry about it."

James Ellsworth joins the panel to discuss the women's tag match. He says The Welcoming Committee is ready for tonight. Booker explains to Peter that James is the "homeboy" of the group. James mentions he eventually wants Carmella to get the Women's Title. They try to ask James is they're dating, but all he says is Carmella is his "homegirl." Carmella calls him on the phone and he leaves.

The panel discusses Corbin vs. Zayn before breaking down the Tag Team Title match. Erick Rowan walks up, which results in awkward silence. He finally walks away. Rosenberg & Booker pick The Usos to retain tonight.

Backstage, Dolph Ziggler is preparing for his match and once again says he doesn't have any footage of Nakamura to watch. Dolph notes they are opening the show, and promises to beat the living hell out of him.

We get a video package on Owens vs. Styles. Booker picks KO to retain, but Peter, who hyped AJ as one of the best ever, picks The Phenomenal One to win.

Sami Zayn joins Dasha in the social media lounge. He's asked if he has a chance at beating Corbin tonight. Sami says beating him tonight will be a way to prove he can beat anyone on any given night. Sami discusses coming to SmackDown to mix it up with new faces. Lastly, he's asked about his positive attitude. Zayn says it isn't all about what happens tonight. It's all about perceptions. Dasha wishes him luck tonight.

Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and JBL are shown at commentary before Aiden English makes his way out singing, only to be interrupted by the Perfect 10.

1) Tye Dillinger def. Aiden English via Tye Breaker in 8:20. Standard match here with Dillinger going over as expected.

Erick Rowan stops by the panel again. He's wearing the sheep mask, but then pulls a different mask out of his bag and rips it up. Erick doesn't answer any of Renee's questions. He pats Peter on the shoulder before walking off. Peter and Booker are shook and don't pick a winner.

The panel breaks down the WWE Title match. A video package airs to end the kickoff.
