If WWE is truly interested in the services of Conor McGregor, he’s willing to listen. McGregor’s agent, Audi Attar, told the Five Rounds podcast that his client is willing to entertain an offer from the sports entertainment organization.
"I think it's all about business, man," Attar said on Tuesday's episode of the Five Rounds podcast, via Brian Campbell of ESPN.com. "If [WWE] is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people—which is me. We can have a conversation.”
Triple H was in attendance at UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor in New York City a couple of weeks ago and said McGregor could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show at WrestleMania XXIV in WWE back in 2008.
McGregor lit up the WWE roster and some fans when he criticized the roster - minus Hunter, the McMahons and The Rock — over the summer. When he received a considerable amount of pushback, he apologized, to absolutely no one.
McGregor is UFC’s top star and their reigning Middleweight and Featherweight Champion. He’s 21-3 and the man that everyone wants to fight. With his first child on the way, Dana White has said he won’t fight u ntil May 2017.
