Daniel Bryan was Michael Cole's guest on WWE's weekly kayfabe interview segment. During the interview, Bryan discussed how it felt to witness the fall of The Authority, Dolph Ziggler's performance, Sting & more. He also announced an Intercontinental Championship match between Luke Harper and Ziggler to take place on this week's Smackdown.
Cole then asked Bryan for an injury update, which led to the following exchange:
Bryan: Well, things are going really well right now. I mean, I'm feeling good, but it's not actually a "feel" issue. It's recovering the strength in my right arm, because there was a nerve issue in my neck - long story, nerves affect strength, whatever. So I'm in the process of trying to get that strength back. When I'll be back, I don't know, unfortunately.
Cole: So you can't give us any little timetable?
Bryan: I wish I could. I wish I could tell you I'd back on Monday. I wish I could tell you, "I'm gonna be there for the Royal Rumble." I wish and pray that I'll be able to tell you that I'll be there for WrestleMania, because I went to Levi's Stadium for the on-sale party, and that place is gonna be magic. It's gonna be awesome, but I can't do that. There is no timetable for my return right now.
Cole: But you didn't say you wouldn't be there.
Bryan: I didn't say I wouldn't be there.
