Jason Albert — real name Matt Bloom/formerly known as Albert and Tensai — will replace Bill DeMott as WWE’s head trainer at NXT, Wrestling News World has learned.
Albert has been with the NXT brand in Ohio over the weekend, where he put over the development of WWE’s future:
On Sunday, Albert Tweeted:
Albert worked for WWE from 1999 to 2004 before having a successful career in Japan as Giant Bernard. He returned to WWE in 2012, repackaged as Lord Tensai and later Tensai before transitioning to NXT last year. He’s a prodigy of Killer Kowalski and Dory Funk, Jr. and is a well-respected and liked veteran across the board. DeMott officially departed WWE on Friday after resigning amid allegations, allegations that he still denies.
