WWE’s new television deals are both five year deals for a whopping total of 470 million dollars annually. For Smackdown, WWE will be receiving 205 million a year, while Raw’s value is placed at 265 million.
It’s interesting to note that Raw does have escalations that could rise their deal to 300 million by the third year.
Deals are expected to be inked in by June. USA did not want to lose Raw, but could not afford both shows.
An internet streaming company made a larger offer for Smackdown at 220 million per year for a three year deal, however, WWE chose FOX based on the exposure and platform on their main channel.
