WWE issued the following statement, noting they decided to mutually part ways:
Eva Marie and WWE have mutually agreed to contractually part ways as of today, Aug. 4, 2017.
Eva signed with WWE in 2013 as a cast member of Total Divas. She transitioned into the ring, where she primarily worked in NXT to improve before being called back up to SmackDown Live as part of last year's Draft.
Eva has not been seen on SmackDown in a year following her first suspension of the Wellness Policy. Since then, she has focused on her acting career.
