Thomas Fenton Reports:
Matt Riddle and WWE have come to terms on a three-year contract. While it has been widely speculated over the last few weeks that Riddle would be headed to WWE, I can now confirm Riddle and WWE have came to terms on a contract.
Riddle has canceled all independent bookings and will not be appearing at PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles. Riddle, who currently works for EVOLVE, will finish his committments with the company on his way out. On Sunday, he flew to Detroit to celebrate with people close to him and if he hasn't signed yet as of this writing, he will sign his deal in the next 24-48 hours.
Riddle, a former UFC standout, began wrestling in February of 2015 and spent the majority of his time in EVOLVE. Riddle is one of the biggest stars on the the independent scene that is not linked to New Japan or Ring Of Honor. Riddle will be headed to NXT when his commitments are fulfilled.
