Gawker Media and Hulk Hogan have reached a settlement, which will see Gawker pay $31 million to Hogan, $750,000 to Shiva Ayyadurai and $500,000 to Ashley Terrill. Here’s what Nick Denton wrote in a blog post about the settlement:
"After four years of litigation funded by a billionaire with a grudge going back even further, a settlement has been reached," Denton wrote. "The saga is over. As the most unpalatable part of the deal, three true stories — about Hulk Hogan, the claim by Shiva Ayyadurai that he invented email and the feud between the founders of Tinder — are being removed from the web.”

Having written this, we're expecting it to be a matter of time before Hogan ends up back in WWE. They've given it time for his latest scandal (the racially charged tape) to die down and will look to have him push the WWE Network to the lapsed fans.
