Hogan Not Helping WWE Sell Tickets, HoF Prices Trending Up, Wrestlemania 31 Update

TiqIQ.com has updated their WWE ticket coverage and are following events on The Road to Wrestlemania 31. Remember, it was TiqIQ that noted that tickets for Royal Rumble this year were the most expensive on the secondary market since they began tracking WWE shows in 2010.

Tickets for the inaugural WWE Fast Lane pay-per-view are currently averaging $104.78 on the secondary market, which is slightly below last year’s Elimination Chamber.

WWE had hoped adding Hulk Hogan to the February 27, 2015 live event from Madison Square Garden in New York City would boost ticket sales. According to the publication, it has had the opposite effect and ticket prices have dropped considerably. As of Wednesday, January 21, 2015, there were 4,000 tickets remaining

Tickets to the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony are trending at the highest price levels since at least 2010 at an average asking price of $165.18.

Wrestlemania 31 is currently the third most expensive Wrestlemania the service has tracked. The average ticket price is $337.54, behind Wrestlemania XXVII in 2011 ($339.56) and 15% below Wrestlemania XXIX at MetLife Stadium ($396.75).
