Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert To Preempt This Week's Smackdown

This week's Smackdown will be preempted in the United States as NBC Universal will be airing a benefit concert called "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" across all their networks on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 8 PM ET. Money collected from the program will be donated to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

The telethon will be hosted by "Today Show" anchor Matt Lauer and will feature live performances by Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Sting. Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams will also be making appearances.

NBC Universal networks include NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA. The telethon will also be live-streamed at NBC.com.
