Tyson Kidd & Natalya

Tyson Kidd was asked by someone on Twitter what he thought about Sheamus teaming with his former tag team partner Cesaro. Kidd admitted that he doesn’t really watch. Here’s his tweet:

Kidd suffered what is being termed as a career-threatening injury during a pre-Raw dark match against Samoa Joe at the June 1, 2015 Raw taping from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX. The injury occurred while taking Joe’s Muscle Buster finisher.

Kidd's contract was coming up earlier this fall and WWE was going to let him go because the feeling is that he'll never be cleared to return to the ring again. However, under the advice of their legal council, WWE made the decision to renew his contract and the two sides struck a deal to keep him with the company.

Everything was kept very kayfabe as WWE didn't want it leaking out there was an issue. Tyson also didn't want any public perception of discord between the company and himself or something that would damage Natalya.
