Michigan head college football coach Jim Harbaugh called in to the Stoney and Bill radio show on Wednesday to express his interest in WWE hosting Wrestlemania 33 at The Big House in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2017:
“Why not the Big House?” he said. “Why not? 140,000 – I bet we could get in there for Wrestlemania. They’re trying to break the attendance record at Jerry Jones’ stadium in Dallas. (There’s) a great Canadian presence in wrestling. Why not Michigan and the Big House?”
Harbaugh talked about his favorite wrestler being Ric Flair and being friends with Rick & Scott Steiner, who are graduates of the University of Michigan.

While Ford Field in Detroit is rumored as a target for Wrestlemania 33 in 2017, we reported exclusively here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium that The Big House is very much under consideration. It has been for over three years and a venue the company has been monitoring, paying special attention to the NHL’s 2014 Winter Classic, which was hosted from there. Vince McMahon is very intrigued by the stadium's capacity, despite of the cold outdoor climate.
