John Cena Becomes First Wrestler To Top Pro Wrestling Illustratred's Annual "500" List Three Times

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has announced that John Cena has been ranked No. 1 in the 2013 "PWI 500."

The list, which is now in its twenty-third year, ranks the top five-hundred professional wrestlers in the world. During the evaluation period for the 2012 "PWI 500," from June 1, 2012, to May 31, 2013, Cena triumphed over The Rock to claim the WWE Championship, won the annual Royal Rumble match, claimed the Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated CM Punk on two occasions.

With the honor, Cena is the first person to top the annual list on three occasions, surpassing two-time winners Bret “The Hitman” Hart, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and Triple H.

The top 10 is as follows: John Cena, CM Punk, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Bully Ray, Kazuchika Okada, Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Steen.
