John Cena announced on Twitter that he’ll head to Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday for shoulder surgery. The word making rounds through a report by PWInsider.com is that John has a torn rotator cuff and will miss Wrestlemania 32. Cena wrote the following:
Rather upside down start to 2016 as tomorrow I will head to Birmingham for shoulder surgery. Life's full of set backs but #nevergiveup
Cena was scheduled to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32 in one of the main events, something we confirmed last month. According to the aforementioned report, that plan is obviously now off.
Birmingham, AL is where the Andrews Sports Medicine And Orthopaedic Center is located although we haven't confirmed who is doing his surgery at press time. Below is his tweet:

Cena just returned to WWE in December following a two month absence, as he was away filming his part in the upcoming FOX reality series competition called “American Grit.” This is a huge blow for WWE.
