Kathie Lee and Hoda discussed their appearance on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw on the Today show on Tuesday.
Hoda said she didn't know what it felt like to step out in a huge stadium and get booed by everyone. She said it was exhilarating in a weird way.
Kathie Lee talked about there being 18,000 people there and Hoda questioned what they were doing there in the first place. Kathie said she was the one that didn't want to do it but Hoda wanted too. Lee said she didn't think it smelled good. They recapped the horrible segment with Adam Rose.
They laughed and had fun with the segment, seemingly alluding to the fact it was a complete train wreck. Kathie Lee said they called them up a few weeks ago and asked them to do it and mentioned that President Obama and President Clinton did it, Hugh Jackman just did it. She said people love doing it but what were they going to do there?
Hoda said they had to write that skit. She said no one knew what they were doing there but it was exhilarating and fun. They talked about meeting Vince McMahon backstage. Kathie Lee talked about the atmosphere backstage and how sweet the gentle giants were. Hoda said they've never felt so petite in their life.
Their robes worn on the show will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen, which is what it's all about. Kathie Lee said you know they say all publicity is good publicity, that's not true. Kathie Lee said WWE brought her in via helicopter and Joan Lunden was with her.

Richard Reacts: Kathie Lee and Hoda are funny and enjoyable people. I guess that's why they have their show. They were completely out of place on WWE Raw and they knew it. The segment was horrible but don't their words just underscore the disorganization of WWE's creative process? Hoda said they wrote their skit! Now I'm sure that's not entirely true but I'm sure the writers had no idea how to utilize them, if that wasn't completely obvious.
