In a followup to Billy Jack Haynes’ lawsuit against WWE, the company has until January 30 to respond to the allegations. LawyersandSettlements.com provided the update at this link.
We covered the lawsuit at this link, where Haynes accuses WWE of mistreating their performers:
“Under the guise of providing ‘entertainment,’ WWE has, for decades, subjected its wrestlers to extreme physical brutality that it knew, or should have known, caused long-term irreversible bodily damage, including brain damage.”
As we reported earlier this week, former WWE wrestlers Vito LoGrasso and Evan Singleton (who worked in developmental as Adam Mercer) have filed an identical lawsuit against the company in federal court in Philadelphia.
WWE plans to fight both suits.
