Welcome to the 2015 SummerSlam Kickoff! Renee Young welcomes us to the panel, alongside Byron Saxton, Booker T & Corey Graves.
Renee sends it to Tom Phillips in the Social Media Lounge. Tom invites us to join the discussion using #SummerSlam on social media. Tom then announces that Stephen Amell and Neville will be joining him later during the Kickoff for an interview. Use #WWEArrows to send in questions. Some fan art from the WWE Universe featuring Amell and Stardust is shown. Tom then reminds us that Jon Stewart will be hosting the show tonight.
Back at the panel, Renee asks the panel about Jon Stewart. Corey says he could use a moment of zen after being around Byron so much. Renee asks if Stewart and Seth Rollins may have words tonight, given their history.
The conversation shifts to Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper. Byron says that Luke Harper is so devoted to Bray Wyatt that he's willing to die for him. Booker says blood is thicker than water. He doesn't know their blood relation, but they're more powerful as a unit. Renee notes that Roman and Dean have always had each other's backs. Byron thinks that gives Roman and Dean the advantage tonight. Corey picks Roman and Dean to win, while Booker selects "the craziest team."
Backstage, Jon Stewart is talking to John Cena about Seth Rollins. Stewart brings up his son Nate, and John signs an autograph. Stewart then walks off with the autograph as his son reaches for it.
Back at the panel, Renee brings up the John Cena vs. Seth Rollins match for both of their titles. Booker said nothing like this has happened since 2001. Corey says Seth hasn't been given the respect he deserves as champion. Byron agrees, saying Seth Rollins wants to pay The Authority back for the support they've given him. Booker says that Rollins hasn't done anything for him lately, in terms of proving that he can win big matches alone. Renee notes that Cena recently had his nose shattered. Byron says Cena always rises to the occasion.
The conversation shifts to Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens. Byron thinks Kevin Owens is jealous of Cesaro. Booker says you've got to step on some toes to be successful. Byron notes that Owens was brutalized in a ladder match last night, and was assisted up the ramp after the match. Booker says that this is what they do every night. Corey picks Owens to win. Byron picks Cesaro. Kevin Owens then walks out to the panel and confronts Booker. Booker says he didn't mean that Owens was actually jealous of Cesaro. Owens asks what he would be jealous of, and says Cesaro is jealous of him. Owens asks if any of Byron's papers say "Cesaro Section." Owens says tonight, he's turning that section into the "Silent Section." Owens grabs Byron's KickStart and walks off.
The conversation moves to the Three-Team Divas Elimination Match. Byron thanks someone off-camera for getting him a new KickStart. Back on topic, Corey says the Divas Revolution is essential, and it all started on NXT. Booker picks Team PCB. Byron picks Team BAD, because they have chips on their shoulders. Renee notes that JoJo is backstage trying to get a word with Stephanie McMahon.
Up next for discussion is the Tag Team Championship Match. Corey says this might steal the show. Booker jokingly expects "New Day Rocks" to take over the arena. He then says it may be the Lucha Dragons' night. Byron says he talked to Titus, who said that he has the biggest chip on his shoulder in the match. Corey picks the Lucha Dragons to win. Byron picks the Prime Time Players to retain. Booker picks the New Day.
The conversation shifts to the Intercontinental Championship Match between Ryback, Big Show & The Miz. Byron notes that Ryback still isn't 100%, but he's here to uphold the legacy of his title. Booker says that Ryback's making a mistake. He could wake up in a hospital after the show. Corey suspects that The Miz could pull off an underdog victory tonight.
Sheamus is interviewed backstage by Rich Brennan. Sheamus says all that really matters is his MITB briefcase. It represents the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and a few weeks ago, he was about to fulfill his dream. Orton interrupted and took away his dream. Tonight, Sheamus is going to hit Brogue Kick after Brogue Kick until he can't even recognize his face. Then he'll cash his briefcase in whenever he wants.
Backstage, JoJo is with Stephanie McMahon. JoJo asks what tonight's Divas match means for the Divas division. Stephanie says it will define which team defines the Divas Revolution. She says women are taking over sports, business, and the world today. Ronda Rousey is defining MMA. Serena Williams is defining tennis. She can't wait to see what the Divas bring tonight. JoJo asks for a prediction tonight. Stephanie says she doesn't usually do predictions, but she's interested in seeing who wins, because "to the victor goes the spoils."
Back at the panel, Renee discusses how important this match is to women watching. Stephen Amell and Neville are shown getting ready for the live Q&A with Tom Phillips.
Tom welcomes Amell and Neville to the show. The first question asks their strategy for tonight. Neville says the Bullhammer is dangerous, so they plan to avoid that at all costs. Stardust is unpredictable, so they have to be aware of that. Amell wants to stay aware that the ring has four sides and that everything hurts. The next question asks the biggest hurdle that Neville had to get past on his way to WWE. He says it was his size, and he's had to work around that by his in-ring style. The next question asks if Neville will ever appear alongside The Green Arrow. Amell says he doesn't do the casting, but never say never. The next question asks if Amell is nervous. He says, "of course," because it's SummerSlam. He's always nervous in a positive way before big moments. The last question asks what's next for The Green Arrow. Amell says they're living in a bigger universe this year, and the mystical things they're getting into should be into should be interesting to fans. Tom asks Neville why fans should tune into the WWE Network tonight. Neville says something like this has never been seen before. They say they're going to make their mark tonight.
Back at the panel, the panelists recap Dolph Ziggler vs. Neville. Byron says Rusev's obsession with Lana will be a distraction. Corey thinks he's over Lana and he's focused on Ziggler.
The panel then moves to Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. Byron says Undertaker has been letting this rematch fester for 504 days. Corey says Brock has been spending that time conquering. He hasn't been beaten in nearly 3 years. Booker says a poll on Twitter is leaning toward Brock, and he agrees. This will be the biggest fight of the summer. Corey picks Lesnar to win. Byron picks Undertaker. Booker picks Lesnar. Renee thanks us to watching the Kickoff and invites us to continue watching on the WWE Network.
