Brock Lesnar was suspended for one year, fined $250,000 and his win against Mark Hunt was overturned to a no decision in a ruling that came down by the Nevada Athletic Commission on Thursday. But according to Mark Hunt, it’s not enough.
"It's not harsh enough considering he gets the same [punishment] as Jon Jones and Jones didn't fight," Hunt told MMAFighting.com. "Would that penalty have sufficed if I had died or been maimed?”
Hunt has not fought for the UFC since losing to Brock Lesnar and he’s already turned down three fight offers. He’s requested the UFC put a clause into his contract that will protect him in the event his opponent fails a drug test.
Hunt is willing to sit out until the UFC meets his demands.
