Pitch.com has a new Q&A online promoting Mick Foley bringing his standup comedy routine to the Stanford Comedy Club in Kansas City, KS. In it, he's asked about rumors of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Below is Foley's response:
It would mean that the rumors that I started spreading about it were effective. It would be a huge honor, especially in Madison Square Garden. WWE does a great job of trying to induct people in geographic areas that mean something to them. For me, being inducted in an arena that I specifically used to hitchhike to and take trains alone to would be a great honor.

As we've noted on numerous occasions, Foley and Bruno Sammartino are the two names that have come up on a consistent basis in regards to possible Hall of Fame inductees this year. We can't confirm a deal has been reached for either as of this writing, however, the first inductee will be announced live on next week's WWE Raw.
