Tonight’s Monday Night Raw comes live from Memphis, Tennessee. As the build to the Royal Rumble continues, lots of action is sure to be in store. Will we see anyone else declare themselves into the Royal Rumble match? With their title match coming at the Rumble, will Sasha Banks and Ronda Rousey be able to matchup with the pair of Nia Jax and Tamina? Will we crown a new Intercontinental Champion in the triple threat match between Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose? We will find out in the moments to come!

We start the night with a limo arriving to the arena and out come Vince McMahon! He makes his way to the arena.

Braun Strowman makes his entrance out into the arena, met with a big ovation. Braun says Brock Lesnar has always been afraid of him. He mentions numerous times in the pass that have prevented the two from an actual fair match. Strowman says he’s 100% healed and he is ready to fight. He proclaims that he will be the new Universal Champion. Strowman is then interrupted by Baron Corbin, who says Strowman is lying to the people when he says that he will beat Brock Lesnar. He also states that he will win the Royal Rumble and go on to main event WrestleMania. This causes Strowman to chase Corbin backstage. Backstage, Elias tells Strowman that Cobin is in the limo that Mr. McMahon arrived in. Strowman proceeds to destroy the limo, and he eventually find Corbin, who runs away. Strowman turns around and Vince McMahon is glaring at him, angered by the Monster’s actions. (Commercial)

Strowman attempts to put the destroyed limousine back together, but is unsuccessful. McMahon tells Strowman that he is a “danger zone.” McMahon tells Strowman that it is going to cause him $100,000. He also tells Strowman that he has been removed from the Universal title match at the Royal Rumble! In a fit of rage, Strowman knocks over McMahon’s limousine.

Back in the arena, Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring (Commercial)

Ronda Rousey & Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax & Tamina

Jax and Banks start the match off. Banks starts off the match hot delivering a barrage of strikes to Jax, following it with a hurricanrana. Banks continues to put the pressure on Jax, locking in a sleeper hold on the middle of the ring. Jax is able to escape, but Banks continues her offense on the former Women’s champion, Rousey makes the tag and takes the fight to Nia, but Jax is able to Get the champion to the corner and make the tag to Tamina. Tamina comes in and Rousey immediately attempts to lock in an armbar, but Nia is able to grab her and pull her out of the ring before the hold is locked in, leaving Tamina and Nia Jax on the outside of the ring. We come back and Jax has Banks in a bear hug in the middle of the ring. Banks is able to fight out, but is nailed with a huge powerbomb, followed by a huge shoulder as soon as she gets up. After a failed pin, Jax puts Banks in a chokehold in the middle of the ring. Banks, once again, is able to fight out, but is floored with a clothesline. Tamina makes the tag and goes on the attack. Banks is able to fight back, after a backfired distraction from Ronda caused by Tamina, and put Tamina into the Bank's Statement gaining the victory. Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks win

After the match, the two women are interviewed. Rousey says it will be a honor to defend her title against Banks. Rousey says it will be one of her biggest achievements to tap Banks out at the Rumble, which offends Banks. Banks says Rousey is not the only one to tap women out. She reiterates the statement that she will teach Rousey how to lose with class. Banks says that she is not afraid of Rousey. She says that she will take back her Women’s championship. Rousey chases banks towards the entrance ramp and tells her she did not mean to disrespect her, but Banks walks away.

Backstage, a line of superstars is formed at the office of Mr. McMahon. (Commercial)

Backstage, Rousey and Banks have to separated by Bayley and Natalya. After they are seperated, Natalya and Balee get into a small argument about who caused the problem in the ring. The Riott Squad interrupt and makes a note of how everyone is falling apart, except for their trio. The Riott Squad challenge Bayley, Natalya, and a partner of their choosing to a match.

Lucha House Party vs. The Revival

Before the match, The Revival claim that the Lucha House Party turned their back on them last week when they failed to see that The Revival were cheated out of their match last week.

Kalisto and Wilder start the match off. After quick arm drags and chops, Kalisto takes control of the match. He and Gran Metalik make quick tags , delivering quick offense to Wilder. Dawson is able to make a tag and take the action to Kalisto. The two go back and forth, but Wilder is able to make a tag. Before he is able to get some momentum, Metalik makes the tag and delivers multiple dropkicks to the Revival. Some fast action and Metalik and Dawson square off. Dawson is able to hit Metalik with big ddt and gain the pinfall victory. The Revival win

Backstage, Mr McMahon has a choice to make to determine who will be facing Brock Lesnar. He says he will make that announcement in the ring. (Commercial)

Mr. McMahon makes his way to the ring. Right before he can say anything, John Cena’s music hits. Cena says that twenty years ago, McMahon gave him a chance and Cena did not let him down. He asks once more for McMahon to give him a chance to face Brock Lesnar at the Rumble and become a seventeen time world champion. He is interrupted by Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says that Cena no longer has ruthless aggression. He says he is what that now looks like. He says Cena’s time is up, his time is now. He tells Cena to leave. These men are then interrupted by Corbin. He says that earlier his life was threatened by Strowman and that what’s best for business is him getting a title match. They are then interrupted by Finn Balor, who says that he has been left out of the conversation for too long. McMahon tells Balor he doesn’t know if he could stand to Brock Lesnar. Balor tells him that he has never believed in him, but the people have. Balor says he will show Vince he has what it takes and begins to attach Corbin. All four men begin fighting in the ring. It ends with McIntyre leveling each man with a Claymore kick. McMahon then announced there will be a fatal four way match to determine the number one contender. (Commercial)

McMahon, backstage, has a run in with Jinder Mahal. He says that he should be considered to have a title match with Brock Lesnar. McMahon tells Mahal that if he can beat one of the four men in the fatal four way match, he can take their spot in the Royal Rumble match. Mahal chooses Finn Balor.

The Riott Squad vs. Bayley, Natalya, & Nikki Cross

Nikki Cross maes heer Raw debut in this tag match! Cross and Logan start the match off. Cross goes on the attack early, causing Logan to make the tag to Liv Morgan. Nikki Cross goes after all three members of the Riott Squad. She takes control by trapping Ruby Riott in between the ring apron and delivering a barrage of elbows. (Commercial)

We come back and Logan and Bayley are in the ring. Logan appears to have control of the match, taking the action to Bayley, inside and out of the ring. Logan makes the tag to Morgan, who continues to have control. Logan makes the tag again, and locks Bayley in an arm triangle in the middle of the ring. Bayley attempts to fight out but is whipped into the corner of the ring. Logan attempts a splash, but Bayley gets out the way and tags in Natalya. She is able to stop the momentum, delivering a huge facebuster to Logan. Morgan is able to make the tag and downs Nataya with a huge enziguri. Cross breaks up a pin attempt and then tags herself into the ring. She takes control of the match, showing off her chaotic style of wrestling. Cross gets Morgan into the ring and is able to make a tag to Bayley. She delivers a hanging neckbreaker from the top rope and Bayley follows it with an elbow drop. She pins Morgan in the ring for the win. Bayley, Natalya and Nikki Cross win (Commercial)

Dean Ambrose, backstage, says he shouldn’t have to defend his title against two opponents. He says regardless of the odds, he will retain his title

Finn Balor vs. Jinder Mahal

As Balor makes his entrance, he is attacked by Mahal and the Singh Brothers. Mahal tosses Balor into the barricade before tossing him into the ring. Balor is slow to get up once in the ring, but the referee rings the bell. Mahal delivers a huge big booty and attempts a pin, but Balor kicks out at two. Mahal attacks Balor with huge forearms to the back of the head. The two men stand up, but Balor is able to down Mahal and deliver a basement dropkick. The men continue to fight to the outside of the ring, where Mahal is able to take control when he sends Balor face first into the ring apron. (Commercial)

Mahal continues to dominate the match as he stomps Balor in the ring. Balor looks like he is back in the match when he reverses a backdrop suplex, but Mahal to put him in a sleeperhold. Balor is able to create some separation, and is able to down Mahal with a big kick. Balor begins to build momentum. He launches himself over the top rope to land on Maha and Singh. Back in the ring, he delivers a slingblade, following it up with a dropkick. He’s able to cap off the sequence with a Coup de Grace, picking up the pinfall victory. Finn Balor wins (Commercial)

Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley

The match starts and Dean attempts to team with Rollins to take out Lashley. Rollins sends Ambrose outside of the ring and goes to work on Lashley, sending him outside the ring. The action spills back into the ring, and Lashley and Ambrose team together to take out Rollins. The two dominate Rollins on the inside of the ring. Rollins attempts to fight back, but is met with a huge spinebuster from Lashley. Ambrose sends Lashley outside the ring and attempts to pick up the pin but fails. After an interference from Lio Rush, the action spills outside the ring as Lashley is able to deliver another huge spinebuster to Rollins. (Commercial)

The action is back in the ring, as Lashley applies a sleeper hole to Rollins. Rollins fights out and is able to go on the attack to Lashley. The two former tag team champions begin to team up and fight Lashley. On the outside of the ring, the two work together to floor Lashley. The two men get back in the ring and begin to unload on each other. Rollins delivers a Falcon’s Arrow and goes for a pin attempt, but the pin is broken up by Lio Rush. Rollins chases Rush, who gets sent out of the ring. The distraction causes Lashley to get back into the match up. He’s downed with a big enziguri from Rollins, followed by a frog splash. Ambrose sends Rollins flying outside of the ring and attempts to pin Lashley, but he kicks out of the pin

With Lashley down, Ambrose goes up to the top rope. He is caught by Rollins on the top rope, who is caught by Lashley. Lashey and Ambrose attempt to deliver a Doomsday Device to Rollins, but he lands on his feet and delivers two huge superkicks. An interference from Lio Rush causes enough distraction for Bobby Lashley to deliver a massive spear to Dean Ambrose, picking up the pinfall victory. Bobby Lashley wins and is the NEW Intercontinental Champion. (Commercial)

We come back to the second episode of “A Moment of Bliss” with the special guest of Paul Heyman. Alexa Bliss’ first announcement is that the women’s tag champions will be crowned in five weeks at Elimination Chamber.

Paul Heyman makes his way on to the set. Bliss asks what are his emotions with all of the changes to the little match at the Royal Rumble. Heyman says emotions have nothing to do with the fact that at the end of the Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar will still be the Universal Champion. Heyman goes on to tell how each man competing in the fatal four way match will not be able to stand up to Brock Lesnar. He is interrupted by Otis Dozovic of Heavy Machinery. Tucker Knight emerges from the back to attempt to bring Otis to the back. (Commercial)

John Cena vs. Baron Corbin vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor

The bell rings and the action quickly starts. Cena and McIntyre fall to the outside of the ring. Corbin and Balor battle in the ring. Balor downs Corbin and attempts a Coup De Grace, but is caught and planted with a huge chokeslam backbreaker. (Commercial)

Cena and Corbin face off in the ring, but quickly this turns to be Balor and McIntyre in the ring. The action spills outside and Cena and Corbin come back in the ring. Cena is able to plant Corbin with a tornado ddt. The pinfall is broken up by McIntyre. However, he ends up on the receiving end of the “ Five moves of Doom.” John Cena caps the run off with an AA, but Corbin is able to break up a pinfall at two. Corbin attacks the kidney of Cena with a couple of big forearms. Cena is able to fight back when he and Balor deliver a double suplex to the big man. The two form an alliance and take the attack to Corbin. The two men take Corbin to the corner of the ring, and set him up in the top turnbuckle. They attempt to deliver a double suplex, but McIntyre interferes and deliver a double powerbomb. McIntyre meets Corbin back at the turnbuckle and delivers a belly to belly overhead suplex. As we come back, Corbin delivers an End of Days to Balor. He goes for the pin but it is broken up by McIntyre. The two big men go head to head, which ends in a big headbutt from McIntyre. Cena goes for a leg drop from the top rope, but McIntyre catches him and delivers a huge powerbomb. Cena kicks out of the pin at two. The two big men tee off on Cena and Balor. Cena and balor are able to stand up and begin to fight back. Finn is able to down Cena and goes to the top rope for the Coup de Grace, but Cena stops his progress. Cena is able to hit an AA from the second turnbuckle. Corbin throws Cena out of the ring and attempts a pinfall on Balor, but Balor refuses to quit and kicks out at two.

Corbin then goes to the outside of the ring and grabs a chair. He begins to unload on Cena and McIntyre on the outside of the ring. Once inside, he brings the attack to Balor, delivering multiple chair shots to the back of Balor. A pinfall is interrupted by John Cena. Corbin mocks Cena and is met with n AA. Cena is then met with a Claymore kick, and McIntyre is met with a tornado ddt. This leaves Balor the last man standing, and he delivers a Coup de Grace to John Cena, gaining the pinfall victory. Finn Balor wins.

Finn Balor has become the NEW number one contender to the Universal Championship and will face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. After the match, Cena tells Balor that he believes in him.We end the night as Cena and Balor embrace in the middle of the ring.
