Monday Night Raw Results (10/23/17)- Smackdown Live Invasion!

Welcome everyone back to WNW! We are coming fresh off the TLC event, with Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose overcoming the odds of a Five on Three TLC Match. Also, how will Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman respond to Jinder Mahal's Survivor Series challenge? Lets find out tonight!

Live From Green Bay, Wisconsin

Highlights from last night's TLC Event was aired, with Kurt Angle and The Shield VS The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, and Kane being the focus...

Kurt Angle made his way to the ring, the commentary team talking about how he isn't 100 percent after the TLC Match. The crowd chanted, "You still got it" at him. Angle stated he started a new chapter in his life at TLC. He went onto the Survivor Series Match. Kurt went down the matches with all the champions on each brand will face one another. Alexa Bliss vs Natalya, Miz vs Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs The Uso's, and Jinder Mahal vs Brock Lesnar. Two Survivor Series Matches will be held as well. One match involving men, while the other match will be the women. The Miz interrupted, and complained to Angle about last night. He told him that he had no right to put himself in the match, teaming with The Shield. Miz told him that he should leave as a competitor and as the Raw General Manager. Kurt told him that he wouldn't, and was going to the back. Miz, along with Sheamus and Cesaro, and Curtis Axel, surrounded the ring. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose made their way through the crowd, going into the ring. Angle went to say Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro will face The Shield, and the man who was at TLC, and stayed an extra night.... AJ STYLES. He made his way to the ring, with the match starting.(c)


Rollins and Sheamus started the match. Seth gained the early control, quickly tagging in Dean Ambrose. They performed a double team move. Dean threw Sheamus into the turnbuckle, running into a boot to the face. Cesaro tagged in, working over Dean Ambrose for a moment. Seth got the blind tagged, with them doing another double team move. The arena chanted for AJ Styles, and Seth tagged him in. Cesaro quickly took control, tagging in the Miz. AJ tried to tag in one of his teammates, causing Sheamus and Cesaro breaking into a brawl. The baby face trio knocked out the heels out of the ring, before all three jumping onto them.(c)

Back from break, Cesaro had Ambrose in a chin lock. Dean tried to fight back, but Sheamus was tagged in to keep Ambrose down. The crowd chanted, "You look stupid." Cesaro was tagged back in. He went for a suplex, only for Dean to reverse. Sheamus tagged back in, going up top to jump. Ambrose reversed him, and made the hot tag to Rollins. Rollins cleaned house until Miz came in, performing a DDT on Rollins for a two count.(c)

Miz put the kicks to Rollins, missing the head kick, rolling him up for a two count. Ambrose threw Sheamus into the crowd, hopping down onto him in the crowd. Seth made a tag to AJ, with Miz tagging in Cesaro. AJ hit his fast paced moves, only to be reversed into a uppercut, and a two count. Rollins broke it up, and a brawl between the teams led. Rollins and Ambrose hit suicide dives on Miz and Sheamus, as Styles hit the phenomenal forearm for the three count.


After the match, Kane made his way to the ring, attacking the trio. Miz and the Bar came in, helping Kane put the boots to them. Kane performed Chokeslams on all three men as Miz and the Bar left the ring....

The commentary team hyped Asuka's Raw debut and Brock Lesnar's response to Jinder Mahal's challenge for later in the show.(c)

After break, Kane was still in the ring, as more highlights aired of the TLC Match last night. This time, it focused on Kane and Braun Strowman's problems throughout the match. With the eventual Chokeslam through the stage on Braun Strowman, along with Kane putting him in the dumpster truck.

Back in the ring. Kane said he heard all about Braun Strowman, and not having any challengers. Kane said he liked what he heard. but what he saw was trash. He put him where he belonged, in the dumpster truck. Kane said he put fear into Braun. He claimed that will only will ever be Raw's true monster. With Braun gone, he said he wanted competition, or else... Out comes Finn Balor, making his way to the ring.(c)


Finn started with kicks before Kane shoulder tackled him. He backed him in the corner, hitting Balor. He threw him across into the other turnbuckle, running into a boot. Balor tried to use his quickness before Kane took control once again, tossing him out of the ring. Kane followed only for Balor to slide back in, baseball sliding Kane. Kane returned in the ring, irish whipping Finn into the turn buckle, causing him to fall. He worked over his back, until Balor returned with some punches and a swing blade. He went up top for a Coup de Grace, only for Kane to sit up. He grabbed Balor, and Choke Slammed him. He picked him up once again, Choke Slamming him once more. Looking down at Balor, he picked him up, Choke Slamming him for a third time for the pinfall.


The announce team hyped Brock Lesnar for later in the show and Kurt Angle choosing the Raw Survivor Series team.

In the back, Kurt Angle was in the back, before Shane McMahon interrupted. The two went back and forth of who's show is better. They eventually shook hands before Shane left.(c)

Asuka made her way to the ring to a non reaction. Michael Cole noted that she has never been defeated since she has been in the WWE. Emma came out after her for the match.


The two women locked up, before Asuka gave Emma kicks. She got her into an arm bar before Emma made it to the ropes. Emma got out to the apron, but got knocked off the ring. Asuka tried to pull her into the ring, before being pulled into the ring post. Back in the ring, Emma took over, controlling over Asuka. She whipped her into the corner, before Asuka performed a missile dropkick. Asuka gave Emma a german suplex. Later, Emma reversed, rolling Asuka for a two count. Asuka got ahold of her, getting Emma into the Asuka Lock, eventually tapping out.


Alexa Bliss was shown backstage, coming up next.(c)

Alexa Bliss was in the ring, saying she put Mickie James in the past. She said it is time to move on to Survivor Series, and told Natalya that there is only one Goddess. She went on to tell the crowd that she put on the performance of her life, and no one gave her respect. She said they would chant for AJ Styles and Finn Balor, but not her. She gave out chants for the crowd to say back to her, only to receive boos. She wanted them to chant, "You deserve it." Mickie James came out and went to the ring. James didn't say anything, but performed a DDT on Bliss. She grabbed the mic and said, "Alexa, you do deserve it." before heading back.

Backstage, Sasha Banks and Bayley went into Kurt Angle's office, and congratulated him on his match. Angle said he said he needed a team captain for the Women's Survivor Series Match. Alicia Fox came in the scene, screaming. Kurt booked a Triple Threat Match between the three to determine who will be the captain....

Up next, it's time to walk with Elias.(c)

Elias was in the ring, welcomed to some boos. He played his guitar and said he had one question for everyone tonight, asking who wanted to walk with him. He commented on the injury of Aaron Rodgers, getting boos. Elias said he was interrupted by Jason Jordan all last night. He said he would give his performance and for all the crowd to shut their mouths. His mic began to mess up multiple times before Elias got out of the ring, and grabbed a microphone, and said he was going to beat the hell out of the sound technician. Jason Jordan then made his way to the ring, the two going one on one after break.(c)


Elias was in control of Jordan coming from break, holding him in a headlock to keep him down. Jordan tried to roll out of it, but was unsuccessful. Jordan fought back, throwing punches at Elias, giving him a belly to belly suplex. Elias went to ringside, with Jordan following him. Jordan ran him in the barricade multiple times, before Elias grabbed his guitar. He hit Jordan in the shoulder with it, smashing into pieces.


Referees and doctors checked on Jordan as Elias walked to the back.

Up next, Brock Lesnar responds to Jinder Mahal.(

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring. A video recapped of last week's Smackdown Live, and Jinder Mahal's challenge out to Brock Lesnar. Heyman introduced himself and Brock Lesnar as the chants echoed for suplex city. He ran down Jinder Mahal, saying he barely escaped his title bouts with the likes of Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. He said everyone likes to trash talk, but Paul Heyman is the best trash talker. Heyman went on to say he doesn't like to trash talk Brock Lesnar's challengers. He said whoever challenges him is a real man, but went on to run down Mahal because he isn't worthy to face him. Paul listed multiple superstar names that were huge, and said Jinder Mahal isn't even a pre- tender. He told Mahal he will be going to Suplex City at Survivor Series, and the challenge is accepted by the Undisputed Universal Champion, BROCK LESNAR....

The announce team talked about how worried Jinder Mahal should be. They then transitioned to last night's Cruiserweight Championship Match where Enzo Amore captured The Cruiserweight Champion for a second time.

Backstage, Charly was interviewing Kalisto, saying he felt fine. He said h would've been okay if he lost the championship to someone who he respected. Tomorrow on 205 LIVE, He was going to invoke his rematch clause against Enzo. But tonight, its going to be Team Lucha vs The Zo-Train in a 10 man tag team match....

Up next, Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Alicia Fox.(c)


Alicia attacked Bayley and Sasha, taking it to both of them. She put Sasha in a headlock before she gave Banks a forearm. Bayley tried to interfere, only for her to be sent out of the ring. Bayley made her way back into the ring, with Banks and her tossing her out of the ring twice before heading into the break.(c)

Coming back, Banks performed a spinning head scissors on Fox. Sasha went to the top rope, before Alicia went up top with her. Bayley went in under Alicia, performing a tree of woe. Banks rolled to ringside with Fox and Bayley in the ring. Alicia hit Bayley with a boot. She went to ringside and grabbed the bell, ringing it, saying she doesn't want to play anymore. Back in the ring, Bayley hit Alicia with a Bayley to Belly, Sasha breaking up the pin. The two fought until Fox came back in and hit Bayley with a Bayley to Belly of her own. Banks then put Fox in the Bank Statement, but overpowered Sasha, throwing Bayley and Banks into each other, causing the three count on Bayley...


Alicia kissed the referee after the match and then celebrated with the Green Bay Packers at ringside....

Up next, 10 man tag team match between Team Lucha and The Zo-Train.(c)

The Zo-Train was in the ring, with Gulak doing all the talking for Enzo. He read off Enzo's normal routine saying, calling all of Team Lucha SAWFT.


Kalisto and Daivari started the match, only for Gran Metalik to be tagged in. Eventually all the Cruiserweights brawled in the ring, with the babyface team clearing all the heels out of the ring before break.(c)

In the ring, Dar worked over Rich Swann before tagging in Gulak. They all kept Swann in the corner, beating him down. Swann and Daivari both did a double collision. All the Cruiserweights brawled outside besides Kalisto and Enzo on the apron. Enzo was tagged in, along with Kalisto. Enzo performed a DDT on Kalisto as all the Cruiserweights on the Lucha Team flipped on the heels. Enzo got distracted by this, and Kalisto took advantage, putting him in the Salida Del Sol for the win...


Coming up, Kurt Angle's Survivor Series Announcement

Kurt Angle made his way to the ring, talking about his Raw Survivor Series Team. Before he made his announcement, Shane McMahon and Smackdown Live Roster made their way through the crowd. Shane went into the ring as the roster surrounded the ring. Shane said, "Under Siege." Kurt Angle went to the back and ran as Shane told the roster to go get Kurt.

Backstage, Smackdown came across Titus and Apollo, attacking them. They continued to go through the back, attacking everyone they see. Shane stayed in the ring. As they walked throughout the back, Rollins and Ambrose attacked them with chairs, until the numbers caught up. They grabbed Angle and brought him back to the ring, facing Shane. Shane told him at Survivor Series, to bring his Gold Medal, and what is left of the Raw locker room. Shane McMahon and the roster left through the crowd, leaving Kurt standing in the ring in disbelief...(e)
