The show starts off with a video package highlighting the end of Extreme Rules - Roman Reigns beat AJ Styles; Seth Rollins returned to attack Reigns. Theme song and pyro follow.

Michael Cole welcomes us to the show as JBL and Byron Saxton are with him on commentary. This is episode 1,200!

Seth Rollins' music hits as The Man walks out in a suit to a pop. Rollins grabs a mic and poses in the ring, soaking in the lively crowd. Rollins asks if the crowd is gonna let him talk. We've been waiting 200 days! Rollins says he has envisioned what it would feel like to step inside his ring once again. "I'm back!"

Rollins says he's waited seven months to take the title that he never lost. Last night, he fired the first shot. Rollins asks if we missed him, crowd pops and erupts with "YES!" Rollins gets booed when he brings up hitting Roman with a chair when The Shield was ended two years ago. We called Rollins the weakest champion of all time. And then his knee buckled. Rollins brags about receiving fan mail. But he didn't open any of it. He threw it away and burned it!

Rollins continues heeling it up by saying he doesn't need the fans to get his title back. Seth discusses putting in a ton of work over the last seven months to get back here. Rollins states again that he is back to take the title whether we boo or cheer him.

Roman Reigns finally interrupts to a mixed reaction, primarily boos. Rollins takes his jacket off. Reigns steps in the ring as Rollins steps out. Shane McMahon's music hits. Shane dances around Roman in the ring before grabbing a mic. Shane welcomes Seth back into the ring to have an "adult conversation."

Shane says there's obviously a lot of animosity between these two. Shane highlights their history - Rollins ends The Shield, the WrestleMania 31 cash-in, and Rollins held the title until his injury while feuding with Roman. Shane announces Reigns will defend the WWE Title against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. Rollins thanks Shane for the match and walks out with a smile on his face as Reigns raises the title.

The commentators highlight tonight's Money in the Bank qualifying matches: Zayn vs. Sheamus, Styles vs. Owens, Ambrose vs. Ziggler, Crews vs. Jericho, Cesaro vs. The Miz.


Backstage, Renee asks Sheamus about his qualifying match as he won MITB last year. Sheamus talks about this being the New Era and it featuring a guy like Sami Zayn. Sheamus calls his hat stupid and knocks him for being from out of this country. Sheamus says what he does to Zayn next will not be suitable for all ages.

Sami Zayn makes his way out first, followed by Sheamus.

MITB Qualifier: Sami Zayn vs. Sheamus

They lock up, Sheamus takes Zayn to the corner and backs off quickly. They lock up again, headlock takedown from Sheamus. They get back up and Sheamus drags Zayn down into a left arm hold. Sheamus applies a headlock, followed by a shoulderblock. Zayn nails a dropkick, followed by chops in the corner. Zayn throws more strikes in the next corner until Sheamus knocks him down. Sheamus does a leg drop and knee drops. Zayn runs the ropes before doing a hurricanrana, sending Sheamus out of the ring. Zayn chases him, but Sheamus hits a forearm. Zayn does a moonsault off the barricade to take Sheamus down. Sheamus does a running knee to knock Zayn back out.


Back from break, Sheamus is posing as Zayn tries to get to his feet. Zayn throws several right hands, but Sheamus catches him with a slam, cover. Zayn goes up top, knocks Sheamus off. Sheamus ducks Zayn and nails an Irish Curse Backbreaker, cover for two. Zayn nails Sheamus with a wicked clothesline out of nowhere. Zayn nails a Driver for a nearfall. Zayn unloads with punches before Sheamus counters in the corner with a kick to the ropes, knocking Zayn down again.

Zayn ducks a Brogue Kick, allowing him to clothesline Sheamus out of the ring. Sheamus cuts Zayn off from flying. Zayn connects with Helluva Kick out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn - by pinfall (10:02)

Sheamus is furious as Zayn celebrates to the back.

Tonight, Charlotte will give a State of the Women's Championship Address with Ric Flair and Dana Brooke at her side.

Backstage, Renee talks to Apollo Crews about facing Chris Jericho tonight. Crews mentions the thumb tacks and says tonight is the biggest match of his life. As Crews starts the talk about the New Era, Sheamus runs up and viciously attacks him.

The New Day make their way to the ring for a six man tag team match. There is a birthday cake in the ring on a table. Xavier says The New Day are still Tag Team Champions after last night. Kofi says this cake is not to help celebrate their victory. It's here to celebrate Raw's 1,200th episode tonight. Raw is over 23 years old! Kofi wishes Raw a Happy Birthday. Big E mentions the ring is never a safe place for a ring. Big E teases throwing the cake in the face of people in the ring row or JBL or Byron Saxton.

Out of nowhere, The Social Outcasts attack Kofi and Xavier.


The New Day vs. Social Outcasts

We come back from break to see Kofi flip Slater off the turnbuckle. The New Day does their Unicorn Stampede on Slater. Big E sends Slater flying into Kofi in their corner. Big E drops Slater into the corner as Woods and Kofi kick him at the same time. Axel and Dallas come to save Slater, but Woods flips out onto the them. Big E picks Slater up and Kofi hits the Midnight Hour for the win.

Winners: The New Day - by pinfall

Big E grabs a piece of the cake, but Kofi and Xavier stop him. They end up throwing Slater into the cake. It explodes everywhere.


Intercontinental Champion The Miz makes his way to the ring with Maryse accompanying him. Maryse introduces The Miz as STILL the Intercontinental Champion. Miz reiterates what she said. He would also like to add future Money in the Bank holder because he's done it once and he'll do it again. Miz has been on a roll since Maryse joined him. Last night's match wasn't just any match, it was THE match. Miz says he went up against three of WWE's greatest stars today. And only one man stood as champion. Miz calls this a true underdog story. Cesaro interrupts a kiss from happening.

MITB Qualifier: The Miz vs. Cesaro

Cesaro uppercuts Miz several times right off the bat. Cesaro does another one to send him to the mat for a cover. Cesaro runs the ropes before connecting with a dropkick, cover. Maryse helps Miz roll out of the ring to recover. Cesaro front flips off the apron onto the champion. Back in the ring, Miz tries to suplex Cesaro, but Cesaro reverses with a stalling suplex, cover for two. Cesaro nails a corkscrew flying uppercut off the ropes before break.


Miz is resting on his knees as Cesaro tries to recover on the mat. Cesaro gets up, throwing punches. Miz drops Cesaro with a neckbreaker. Cesaro counters the Skull Crushing Finale with a small package. Miz drills Cesaro with a DDT, cover. Miz pulls Cesaro up into the ropes throat-first. Cesaro stops Miz with an uppercut, followed by several more. Miz manages to hit the corner clothesline.

Cesaro dropkicks Miz off the apron. Cesaro runs full force into Miz with an uppercut at timekeeper's area. Cesaro does a crossbody from the top, cover for two. Cesaro double foot stomps Miz, two. Cesaro swings Miz a couple times before Cesaro tends to his hurting shoulder. Miz tugs the arm against the ropes. Miz goes up top, but Cesaro uppercuts him. Cesaro nails the Neutralizer for the win.

Winner: Cesaro - by pinfall (11:20)

The commentators take us through the opening segment again.

Renee talks to Rollins backstage. Rollins says the title match happening at MITB is very fitting since he won two years ago. Seth finds Stephanie McMahon backstage. She rejects a hug. Steph tells Rollins things have changed around here, including their business relationship. Steph says welcome back and they shake hands.

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring with several bandages on his arms and back following last night's Asylum Match.

Apollo Crews makes his way to the ring for the next match. We see a replay of Sheamus attacking him.

MITB Qualifier: Chris Jericho vs. Apollo Crews

Jericho unloads on Crews with strikes and knees. Crews gets knocked down by an elbow and Jericho continues the assault. Crews catches Jericho off guard with a dropkick and arm drag. Crews hits a suplex, flips into the ring for a cover. Crews ducks a clothesline and throws punches at Jericho's bandages. Jericho gets a cheap shot in from behind. Jericho hits a snap suplex and does a low dropkick, cover. Crews tries to fight back with punches. Jericho nails a dropkick, cover.

Jericho wraps up the left arm and punches Crews in the head a few times. Crews gets out but Jericho chops him. Crews kicks Chris and clotheslines him, followed by a splash in the corner. Crews ducks Jericho, allowing Chris to fall to the outside. Crews successfully does a moonsault onto Y2J. Back in the ring, Crews goes up top but rolls through. Crews hits a powerslam for a nearfall. Crews hits an enziguri, but Jericho manages to roll through and lock Crews in the Walls. Crews crawls to the bottom rope.

Jericho runs at Apollo, but Crews hits a kick to the head. Crews unloads with punches. Jericho hangs onto the ropes to avoid a dropkick. Jericho takes Crews back down with a lion-sault, nearfall. Crews rolls Jericho up out of the Walls, nearfall. Jericho hits the Codebreaker for the win.

Winner: Chris Jericho - by pinfall (7:45)

Jericho joins Cesaro and Zayn in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Backstage, Renee asks Sheamus for his opinion on the result, but he laughs and walks away.


We see another vignette with Darren Young and Bob Backlund.

JoJo is backstage with Baron Corbin. We see the final moments of him beating Ziggler in a No DQ Match last night. Corbin says people have a problem with the way he won a No DQ Match. He did that to Ziggler because he can. Ziggler walks up and knocks his abilities. Corbin says they'll discuss his technical wrestling later. Ziggler says they'll have another match next week. But tonight, Ziggler promises to steal the show with Ambrose.

Big Cass comes out and welcomes a returning Enzo Amore! They are over like rover. Enzo introduces himself like only he knows how. Enzo says he forgot to pay his electric bill and his lights went out. He was diagnosed with a concussion. Enzo says he is blessed because he has the gift of gab and the gift of jab. Enzo calls out Bubba & Devon for being phony. Cass tells them that he's gonna prove there's only one word to describe them... S-A-W-F-T SAWFT!

The Dudley Boyz enter and a match is next.


Big Cass vs. Bubba Ray Dudley

Bubba takes Cass to the corner after they lock up. Cass shoves Bubba down to the mat. They lock up again, Cass ends up in the corner again. Cass whips Bubba across the ring. Outside, D-Von takes Enzo out. Bubba uses the distraction to hit Cass with a back drop. Bubba eats a clothesline for taunting him. Cass hits a couple shoulder tackles before a splash in the corner. Bubba rolls out for a breather.

Cass exits the ring and helps send Enzo flying into D-Von. Bubba goes up top, but Cass stops him with a slam. Cass nails a running boot to the face. Cass connects with the Empire Elbow for the win.

Winner: Big Cass - by pinfall (3:14)

We see how Dana Brooke helped Charlotte beat Natalya last night.

Women's Champion Charlotte, Ric Flair, and Dana Brooke make their way to the ring. Flair tells Charlotte he is very proud of her for everything she's accomplished. Ric mentions Charlotte getting Dana Brooke to help her be so successful. Charlotte thanks herself before saying she's proud of Dana for making the right decision. Charlotte turns her attention to Ric, after yelling at the crowd a few times.

Charlotte finally has the courage to tell her father to get out of her ring. She goes on to say she was compassionate enough to let Ric bask in her glory. Charlotte says her spotlight shines brighter than her father's ever did. Ric starts to cry as Charlotte continues yelling. Charlotte tells Ric he is dead to her. Charlotte raises Dana's hand as Ric walks off sobbing.


Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring for the next match. Dolph Ziggler enters next.

MITB Qualifier: Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler

Lock up, waist lock on Ziggler. Ambrose quickly covers for a one. Ziggler with a fireman's carry takedown, quick cover. They lock hands in the middle of the ring as Ambrose works Ziggler's left arm. Ambrose applies a headlock into a takedown. Shoulder tackle from Ambrose, Ziggler counters with a dropkick. Ziggler applies a headlock on Dean now. Ambrose bucks him off and clotheslines him. Ambrose body slams Dolph, cover.

Ambrose chops Dolph and throws him into a corner for another chop. Ziggler with a sunset flip, they trade pins. Ambrose attempts to fly out, but Ziggler dodges him and Dean remains in the ring.


Both men are up top as Ambrose is punched off. He comes back and suplexes Ziggler, cover for two. Ziggler splashes in the corner, but Ambrose counters the neckbreaker. Ambrose sends Ziggler over the top rope. Dean runs out onto him. Ambrose heads up top and Ziggler follows him there, but Dolph is pushed away. Ambrose nails the elbow, but Ziggler rolls him up out of it. Ziggler hits the Famouser, nearfall.

Ziggler and Ambrose run into each other with a double crossbody. They trade punches until Ziggler hits a superkick, but Ambrose slings back with a clothesline. Ziggler hits Ambrose with a dropkick as Dean leaps from the turnbuckle. Ziggler rolls Ambrose up again, headbutt follows. Ambrose nails Dirty Deeds for the win.

Winner: Dean Ambrose - by pinfall (12:08)

Backstage, Arn Anderson hugs Ric Flair. Renee walks up and asks him if he wants to respond. He shakes his head and continues walking out the exit.

We see a promo from Primo & Epico.

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring for the main event. AJ grabs a mic and says Roman Reigns is every bit the man he says he is. He says Roman is one of the better men he's ever been in the ring with. AJ says if it wasn't for The Usos, Gallows & Anderson, he would be World Champion. AJ says he has another opportunity tonight to win on his own.

Gallows & Anderson make their way out. Karl tells AJ to take it back. He doesn't understand why Styles blamed all of them. AJ tells them he's wanted to do this all on his own. Karl and AJ discuss the differences between now and Japan. AJ says he didn't help them get here so they could fight his battles. Gallows says AJ wouldn't have made it to Extreme Rules without them. Styles suggests they separate professionally. But nothing and no one can separate them from being brothers.

Gallows can't believe AJ. Karl says they aren't brothers anymore. They aren't friends either. AJ goes on to call it his ring. Gallows & Anderson leave.


This week on SmackDown - Cesaro vs. Miz for the IC Title and Kalisto vs. Rusev for the US Title.

Kevin Owens enters.

MITB Qualifier: AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens

Owens and Styles argue about who will win before shoving and punching each other. Styles chops Owens into the ropes. Owens applies a headlock, but is bucked off. Owens eats a dropkick, cover for one. Styles nails a knee drop, cover. At the ropes again, Styles chops Owens several times. Owens whips AJ and hits a dropkick. Kevin trips AJ but ends up getting flipped and sent out of the ring.

AJ lands on the apron but gets tripped. Owens rolls out of the ring to clothesline AJ. Styles hits the forearm to the face when leaping out of the ring. He then sends Owens into the ring steps shoulder-first.


During the break, Owens tossed AJ onto the apron. Back in the ring, Styles is throwing punches but gets dumped over the top rope again. Owens tries to powerbomb Styles onto the ring steps, but AJ drives him into the apron. They roll back in the ring where they trade punches. Owens lifts AJ, but he gets out with punches followed by a clothesline, cover. Styles drops Owens with a face plant, cover.

Owens with a back body drop, Styles then elbows out of the corner. Owens hits a German suplex and then the rolling senton in the corner, cover. Styles goes for a kick, Kevin ducks., Owens hits another German and Styles manages to nail the kick to the head. Styles takes Kevin down with a Driver, nearfall. Owens lifts Styles, knee to the gut, and connects with a Driver to the knee of his own, cover.

Owens goes up top, but AJ stops him.They punch and headbutt, AJ falls. Owens does a moonsault, AJ moves. Styles hits a 450 splash from the ropes, nearfall. Styles catches Owens with a knee on the apron. Owens pop up powerbombs AJ on to the ring steps. He makes it back in the ring right before ten.

Styles counters the pop up with a pelee kick, cover for two. Owens kicks the ropes to trip AJ. Owens connects with pop up powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens - by pinfall (16:30)

Owens, Jericho, Ambrose, Cesaro, and Zayn are set for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
