- Sin Cara and Kalisto beat The Ascension in the opening match at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way to win the NXT Tag Team Championships. It's worth noting that The Ascension held the titles for a year and are rumored to be staying on the main roster after having a match on this week's WWE Main Event. Also, it appears that Sin Cara and Kalisto will be known as The Lucha Dragons going forward.

Kenta made his television debut at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way. NXT General Manager William Regal replaced Ric Flair and introduced the international superstar. Kenta cut a promo and announced that he will be known as Hideo Itami going forward. He took out The Ascension to end the segment. It was announced later in the show that Itami will be in action next week on NXT.
