For the first time in nearly two years NXT Takeover is an afterthought. It could be due to the sheer power of the Sunday card, or maybe it's NXT going through a rebuild. The night before Survivor Series we will see the return of WarGames. After nearly a twenty year hiatus the double cage is back and in NXT.
This card has an opportunity to succeed and be memorable: crowning the first Women's champion after the Empress Era as well as the return of an iconic match never before seen in WWE. It will all go down in Houston, Texas this Saturday, November 18th. The kickoff show begins at 7 p.m. ET followed by the main card, starting at 8 p.m.

NXT WarGames Predictions:
Kassius Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan- This will likely be the match that opens the show. As of late both men are on a bit of a win streak with Ohno being the more established star. With NXT being in a rebuilding phase they need to build more stars than ever before. NXT can always use more midcard heels and a lose doesn't hurt Ohno. I look for Sullivan to pickup the win on Ohno in the opener. Winner: Lars Sullivan
Aleister Black vs. Velveteen Dream- This has been a good feud that shouod culiminate in a good match. Black is a superstar everyone seems to be in love with. Feeling that he has unlimited potential and could be a big star. Dream on the other hand has finally found a role and has improved significantly. I expect a good match and for Black to get the win ultimately setting up the Adam Cole vs. Aleister Black match Wrestlemania weekend. Winner: Aleister Black
Kairi Sane vs. Peyton Royce vs. Ember Moon vs. Nikki Cross (Women's Title Match)- The title formerly owned by Asuka was vacated. This leaves us needing a new champion and four deserving women. We have Moon and Cross who are the last two challengers to Asuka. They were both unsuccessful defeating the Empress. We have the Takeover debut of Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane and then an always-improving wildcard in Peyton Royce. With this being a fatal four-way you can protect Sane who is too new for the win. While many will go with Moon or Cross, I'm taking Peyton Royce to become champion. Winner: Peyton Royce
Drew McIntyre vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas (NXT Title Match)- It's nice to see Almas get a title shot here. It's the perfect event for this spot because it's not the headline. Almas has filled the "Tyler Breeze" role very well and has improved since the addition of Zelina. Make no mistake - while it's nice to see Almas get his moment, we are biding time until Cole vs. McIntyre. This gives McIntyre a title defense and something to do until Adam Cole is ready. Winner: Drew McIntyre
Undisputed Era vs. Sanity vs. Authors of Pain & Roddy Strong (WarGames Match)- How much fun is this match? You have Sanity who are your wild faces with no fear, Authors of Pain who are massive people movers and then the crafty heels in the Undisputed Era out to prove they are the best. This match will certainly main event and will be the official kickoff to controversy. I think Undisputed Era wins after a Strong heel turn. This will leave us all excited and wondering "Why, Roddy, why?" Winners: Undisputed Era
Here are the rules as written by WWE and were modified from the original NWA/WCW rules. The three-member teams will safe war inside a massive steel cage that surrounds two rings. All three teams will be contained inside separate shark cages by the entance way, with a member from each team (as chosen by his respective squad) starting the match. After five minutes, the remaining members from one team will be released from their shark cage and allowed to enter the match. When another three-minute period elapsed, the remaining members of the second team are released from their shark cage and enter the match. Once all three teams have entered WarGames, The Match Beyond begins and a victory can be attained via pinfall or submission.
