WWE has updated their Key Performance Indicators, giving the preliminary buyrate number for WWE Extreme Rules. This year’s show did 56,000 traditional buys, according to the document including preliminary data that you can read at this link.
Traditional buys no longer mean what they once did as WWE has transitioned from pay-per-view to WWE Network subscriptions.
Below is the updated table of traditional pay-per-view buys for 2015:
- Royal Rumble 2015 - 145,000 traditional buys (compared to 467,000 in ’14)
- WWE Fastlane ’15 - 46,000 traditional buys (compared to 183,000 in ’14 as Elimination Chamber)
- Wrestlemania 31 - 259,000 traditional buys (compared to 690,000 in ’14)
- Extreme Rules 2014 - 56,000 traditional buys in prelim data (compared to 108,000 in ’14)
