‘Ravishing’ Rick Rude is set for a posthumous 2017 induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, according to reports attributed to the PWInsider.com website.
Rude died in April 1999 and worked in WWE, WCW and ECW. He was a former Intercontinental Champion in WWE and United States Heavyweight Champion in WCW. Rude retired from the ring in 1994 following a back injury while working against Sting.
Another name confirmed for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Class is Diamond Dallas Page, which we brought you earlier this week. There are rumors about another WWE employee going in this year but we do not have that name at press time.
The 2017 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Orlando, Florida over Wrestlemania 33 weekend.
