Roman Reigns Out Longer Than Expected

While the latest WWE.com update featured Dr. Chris Amann stating that Roman Reigns would be able to return to physical activity "between four and six weeks," a much longer timetable was presented at WWE Night of Champions on Sunday. It was stated from the Kickoff to into the broadcast that Reigns is set to be out of action for "several months." This after undergoing emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia on Saturday.

We originally mentioned the longer timetable here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com>, it stands repeating because the fact it was repeated on the pay-per-view broadcast.

Dean Ambrose Returns

Dean Ambrose returned to WWE at Night of Champions, answering an "open challenge" of Seth Rollins. Rollins called out Roman Reigns before Ambrose came back and fought him through the crowd. Ambrose has been away from WWE, filming his role in the WWE Studios production "Lockdown." He was eventually ejected from ringside by The Authority.
