If Donald J. Trump’s historical campaign to become President of the United States did anything, it proved that anything can happen when it comes to politics. Enter Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, former WWE megastar and the world’s highest-paid actor. When asked if he would consider running for the Oval Office in 2020, here’s what Johnson told Vanity Fair:
“I wouldn't rule it out,” Johnson, 44, told Vanity Fair with a big smile after speaking at a press conference to promote his latest film Moana in Los Angeles on Sunday. “It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen.”
The Rock tip-toed around the idea of running for president in an ever so slightly-joking manner back in March. However, as we saw with Trump, literally anything is possible and stranger things have happened.
Rock isn't a complete newb to politics as he spoke at the 2000 Republication National Convention where he encouraged young people to vote, regardless of political affiliation.

While The Rock didn’t endorse a candidate for President in 2016, we can confirm Donald Trump is one of 81 people that he follows on Twitter.
