Roman Reigns Suspended For First Wellness Policy Violation

Roman Reigns announced on Tuesday that Roman Reigns has been suspended for thirty days following his first Wellness Policy violation:

WWE has suspended Joe Anoa`i (Roman Reigns) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion also issued a statement on his official Twitter account:

"I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy,” Reigns tweeted. "No excuses. I own it."

Looking ahead at the next month, it appears that Reigns will still be able to compete in the triple threat WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins at Battleground on July 24.
