At Friday's WWE NXT live event at the UK Download Festival, Ruby Riot busted her face open when taking a bump into the ring steps from Asuka. The injury forced their NXT Women's Championship Match to be thrown out.

Ruby appeared on Facebook Live afterwards to note that she received five stitches to close the wound.
