A new report attributed to F4WOnline.com claims WWE is looking at doing a champion vs. champion program between WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns. If the report is accurate, the proposed match would take place at WWE Roadblock on December 18, 2016.
Reigns indicated on the Hell in a Cell post-show that he wants to add Owens’s gold to his collection, proclaiming he can get the job done where Seth Rollins couldn’t.
"I've got two shoulders, God made them broad," Reigns said. "I've got one strap. I'm looking for another.”
Vince McMahon has tried for years to get Roman Reigns over before finally pulling back to give Finn Balor and Kevin Owens an opportunity. Now, he could be getting another chance. A WWE Hall of Famer actually believes WWE should have kept pushing Roman Reigns.
