Good evening and Happy Rusev Day wrestling world! Tonight’s another night of Smackdown Live and it’s going to be a good one! Stay tuned!

In-Ring Segment

The New Day comes out to start off tonight’s show. Last week, Big Show aided The Bar in their win for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. The rematch for the titles will take place at Crown Jewel with Show at The Bar’s side. Kofi wants payback and wants to take on any one of those guys, stating that “somebody's getting that work tonight.” The music hits and out comes new SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar with Big Show. Show will faces Kofi to start the action off for the night.

Big Show vs. Kofi Kingston

Sheamus and Cesaro toy with Kingston, having him thinking one of them would start it off. Big Show comes in and we finally get the bell. Show takes control with big shots into the corner, talking trash the smaller man as the referee gives him the count.

Show with chokeslam after chokeslam in the middle of the ring. He wants to continue devouring Kofi some more but Big E and Xavier Woods come to their boy’s rescue. The Bar comes in and the referee calls for DQ.

Winner by DQ: Big Show

All six Superstars are going at it. The dust settles and Show chokeslams Big E. Show calls for The Bar to hold Woods up and he lands the knockout punch. Show and The Bar stand tall in the middle of the ring to mostly boos as Show's music hits. Show grabs Woods and hit another chokeslam in the middle of the ring. Cesaro talks trash in Woods' face before the group leaves.

Tonight, Rey Mysterio will be the guest host of Miz TV!!

The Usos will take on “The Champ That Runs The Camp” AJ Styles & his opponent at Crown Jewel, Daniel Bryan.

The Usos vs AJ Styles & Daniel Bryan

Bryan starts off with Jimmy and takes control immediately. He runs the ropes and drops Uso with a shoulder. Jey tags himself in but Bryan sends him flying over the ropes. AJ runs in and dropkicks Jimmy to save his temporary partner. Bryan and AJ go for the dive, knocking The Usos down. They head back in the ropes and Bryan leads a "yes!" chant!!

Out of the break and Jimmy has control of Bryan. Bryan fires up and takes shots at Jey. Bryan gets some breathing room and makes the tag to AJ. AJ goes to work on Jey. AJ drops Jey and hits Jimmy with a flying knee to the face from the apron. AJ comes back in and hit Jey with the signature for a close 2 count.

Styles goes for the Styles Clash but it's blocked. Jey delivers a knee in the corner but AJ turns it into a Calf Crusher. Jimmy comes to his brother’s rescue. Bryan runs in and goes at it with Jimmy. Jimmy kicks Bryan in the midsection but Bryan dumps him over the top rope to the floor. AJ springboards in with the Phenomenal Forearm to Jey but he moves and AJ almost hits Bryan. AJ stops himself. AJ ends up dropping Bryan with the pele kick by accident when Jey moved out of the way. The Usos take advantage and Jey hits the splash to get the pin on AJ for the win!

Winners by pinfall: The Usos

Out of the break, Dasha Fuentes stops AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan backstage. She asks if AJ's pele kick was intentional. AJ says it was an accident, like how Bryan did something similar last week was. They have some friendly but tense words. Bryan accuses AJ of being a liar, saying his nose is “growing like Pinocchio.” Bryan mocks AJ with the “Too Sweet.” AJ walks off.

The video showed of Charlotte Flair speaking to the women of WWE NXT at the WWE Performance Center over the weekend. SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch came in and the two started brawling. We cut to a new backstage promo from Flair, who is pretty hurt. She said Becky's actions were “unforgivable” as she “disrespected where they came from, their foundation.” Flair states how Becky changed. And when she wins the title back from Becky at Evolution in the Last Woman Standing match, she “won't be standing over a defeated opponent, she will be over someone who lost her way.”

Rusev w/ Lana vs. Aiden English

Out of the break, Aiden English is out with a mic. He sings a song to taunt Lana and Rusev, and, of course, the big heels have to take shots at the city they’re in. The bell rings and Rusev goes right to work like a wolf, devouring English on the outside.

Rusev gets back into the ring but it’s English with a swinging neckbreaker. English unloads in the corner and talks trash. This may be a bad idea. English turns his attention to Lana and says this is all her fault. English turns around to a Machka Kick from Rusev. He applies The Accolade and makes English tap for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Rusev

Coming up, The Miz will host Miz TV. His special guest will be Rey Mysterio!

In-Ring Segment: Miz TV

The Miz welcomed Rey Mysterio to the ring as his guest. As we all know, Mysterio returned last week. Of course, Miz hyped up the future Hall of Famer and then, dissed him. This set up a match between Miz and a fired-up Rey Mysterio. They brawled for a second and got a ref to come to the ring.

Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz

Rey started off using that speed to his advantage, going to work on The A-Lister. Miz turned it around when Rey went for the corner splash and was sent face-first into the turnbuckle. Miz is going to work on the smaller Mysterio. He went for an early Skull-Crushing Finale but Rey turns it back over and sets Miz up on the rope for the 619! Miz moves out the way, wanting NO part of that.

Out of the break, Miz is wearing Rey down and sets him up with the “It!” Kicks. Rey tries to turn the tables and get the momentum going but Miz puts a stop to it, gaining the control back.  Miz can’t seem to drop the finisher on Rey. Rey finally gets some breathing room to turn it over and sets Miz up for the 619! He gets the pin for the win!

Winner by pinfall: Rey Mysterio

Tonight, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton will face off again in singles’ action.

Up next, Asuka and Naomi are in action!! Tag team action in the women’s division.

Asuka & Naomi vs. Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose

Before the bell rang, The IIconics came out and stated how excited they are about Evolution. And how they make it “ICONIC.” Lana came out and Carmella followed her. She did a dance break and Zelina Vega came out to end it, starting a brawl in the ring with the women of the Battle Royal at Evolution. The ring cleared out and Zelina had Lana set up in the corner for the running knee attack. As she was celebrating, Asuka came in and took her out.

No Contest

This Sunday, the Women’s Battle Royal will take place to determine who will earn a shot at the Smackdown Women’s Title.

In-Ring Segment

Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon is in the ring! He’s discussing the World Cup at Crown Jewel. We will see who will be crowned “Best in the World.” He’s introducing the main event! Who’s all ready?!

Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton

We know the slight history between these two. The last time they faced off a month ago, they had a pretty crazy showing which resulted in Orton defeating Hardy after a missed drop from the top of the cell. Orton knows that Hardy may still be in some rough shape. He’s already stomping and wearing him down.

Orton lands a standing dropkick with the 2 count. He’s just taking his time with the former WWE Champion. Hardy ends up caught up in the corner and Orton is just stomping away! As Hardy is in that corner caught up. Orton tugs at that ear lobe! It just makes your skin crawl just watching it. They go ringside and Orton is laying him out!

They get back in the ring and Orton is still taking his time. He goes after that ear again and this fuels Hardy! He picks uo the energy and turns the table. He hits the Whisper in the Wind with the nearfall. He gives Orton the Twist of Fate and sets up for the finish but Orton rolls out of the ring. Hardy goes to the apron and wants the running swanton. Orton moves, sending Hardy flying flat to his back with a loud thud!

Orton sends him back in the ring and sets up for the RKO. Hardy counters with the pin and the nearfall. He goes for another Twist of Fate but Orton counters with the RKO outta NOWHERE!!!!!!! He puts Hardy away for the night.

Winner by pinfall: Randy Orton

Orton has a lot of momentum heading into Crown Jewel. Will he come out on top then?
