In-Ring Segment

Paige brought out “The Best in the World” Shane McMahon. The crowd is pretty pissed. Shane is booed like crazy. Paige and Shane took a photo with the trophy. Shane says he doesn’t think he is the best in the world and that the trophy belongs to everyone on the blue brand roster. Shane goes to talk about Survivor Series. Shane introduced the captain of the Smackdown Live men’s Survivor Series team, Daniel Bryan. Bryan comes out and expresses how honored he is to lead the team.

The Miz interrupted. He’s upset that Bryan has been named the team captain. Miz says 2/3rds of the World Cup trophy is his. Miz and Shane are the Best in the World together. Shane says he’s happy that things worked out how they did. If they didn’t, Miz would‘ve been gone. Miz says he should be captain of the blue team. Shane says based on Miz’s performance at Crown Jewel Miz should be. Miz celebrated but Shane tells Miz that he and Bryan will be co-captains.

Backstage Segment

Backstage, Miz and Bryan are arguing. Shane tells them that he put Bryan and Miz together because they bring the best out in each other, which is pretty true. Miz and Bryan picked Shane as the first pick for the blue team. Surprisingly, Miz let Bryan have the next pick. Bryan and Miz exchanged smiles. Bryan said that it was weird and left off.

The New Day vs. The Usos

Kingston throws Jimmy to the outside. Kingston grabs onto the ropes. Big E flattens Jimmy. Out of the break, Kingston surprises Jey with the double foot stomp. Double tags leads to Big E. suplexing Jimmy. Uranage by Big E. but Jimmy kicks out. Big E. sets up for the Big Ending. Jey kicks Big E. Jey goes for a Superfly Splash but Big E. gets the knees up. Big E. drops Jey with the Big Ending. Jimmy comes to save the brothers from an L. Big E. misses his signature spear off the apron. Big E. picks up Jimmy and drives him back first into the barricade. Jey sends Big E. into the bell area. Kingston hits the falling star splash to the outside. Kingston gets a two count. Kingston with another near fall after the SOS. Jimmy powers out again. Huge crossbody off the top rope by Kingston.

Out of the break, the Usos go for the double suplex Kingston to the outside. Kingston breaks away and Big E. spears Jey through the ropes. Kingston hits trouble in paradise. Jimmy kicks out. Kingston teases a superplex. Jimmy knocks Kingston off the rope with a headbutt. Kingston hops back up. Kingston tries a top rope hurricanrana. Jimmy reverses it into a top rope powerbomb and goes for the Superfly Splash for the win!

Winners by pinfall: The Usos

The Usos picked The New Day for the Smackdown tag team Survivor Series match. The two teams respectively shook hands.

Backstage Segment

Bryan tells Miz his pick for the team is Rey Mysterio. Miz doesn’t want him, saying that Mysterio hasn’t done anything since returning to WWE. Bryan listed all of the people Mysterio had beaten since returning, which includes the Miz. Miz says if Mysterio impresses him tonight he is in. For the last pick, Bryan and Miz will each pick someone and those two superstars will have a match for the last spot on Team SD Live.

In-Ring Segment

Lynch stated that Ronda Rousey has no right to tell her anything. Rousey may hold a title but she is no champion. A true champion faces adversity. Rousey “hasn’t been tested… yet.” That is why Lynch is the champion and Rousey isn’t...even though they both have titles that say so and that Rousey’s titanium body is going to be outdone by her weak mind. Lynch feels that she’s the best. It’s not Rousey’s respect Lynch is coming for, it’s her arm. Rousey may be the baddest bitch on the planet but at Survivor Series, Lynch is going to make Rousey hers. Lynch wants a fight. SAnity’s music hits and the group walked out on the ramp. Nikki Cross runs out. Wolfe tells Cross to go. Cross runs into the ring and goes crazy. Lynch tries to talk but Cross takes. Cross asked Lynch to play with her. Lynch says the champ doesn’t play. The champ fights.

Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Cross

Lynch takes Cross down. Cross yells at the champ to come on. Cross manages to land the head scissors. Lynch sends Cross to the floor. Cross traps Lynch in the ring apron. Cross fires at her as Lynch is trapped. Cross sends Lynch back in. Lynch dumps Cross back to the floor. Lynch locks Cross in a rear chin lock. Schoolboy by Cross but Lynch kicks out. Lynch dropkicks Cross and Cross kicks out.

Beck-sploder by Lynch. Cross battles her way out of that corner. Clothesline by Cross and Cross splashes Lynch in the corner. Running bulldog by Cross and she goes up top. Cross lands a crossbody for a near fall. Reverse DDT by Cross. Lynch kicks out yet again. Cross stomps Lynch in the corner. The referee pulls Cross off of Lynch. Lynch sends Cross into the bottom rope. Lynch locks Cross in the Dis-Arm-Her and Cross taps out!

Winner by submission: Becky Lynch

Daniel Bryan and Miz were backstage thinking of their picks. Bryan chose Jeff Hardy while Miz chose Samoa Joe.

Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas

Almas goes at Mysterio. Mysterio Almas with a head scissors. Alams turns it over with a running back elbow. Mysterio is sent spinning across the ring. Mysterio ends up into the corner. Almas with the running knee strikes and Mysterio kicks out of the pinfal. Almas with another running knee but fails to connect. He goes to the outside. Mysterio dives for a hurricanrana. Almas caught Mysterio and slammed him into the barricade.

Out of the break, Almas misses the Meteora. Mysterio capitalizes and hits a springboard senton. Alams goes for a sunset flip but Mysterio rolls out and lands a head kick, classic Rey Mysterio! Almas kicks out at 2.

Mysterio goes up top. Almas stops him and wants a superplex. Mysterio stops it and wants a hurricanrana. Almas lands on his feet and hits the Meteora twice. Almas gets a two count. Almas tries the double jump moonsault but Mysterio gets the knees up. Mysterio sets up for the 619. Almas doesn’t want any part of it. He picks Mysterio up in an electric chair. Mysterio wants to send Almas to the outside but Almas lands on his feet with Mysterio still up and on his shoulders. Mysterio sends Almas into the apron. Mysterio drops Almas with the vintage DDT. Mysterio sets up for the 619 and hits it! Mysterio with the win!

Don’t look now! The Viper hits Mysterio with an RKO outta nowhere!! Randal Keith Orton I’d say you’ve done enough....

AJ Styles vows to go up against The Beast and defeat him this year at Survivor Series.

In-Ring Segment

Paige announced the Smackdown Live Women’s Team: Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair. Flair never came out. Mandy Rose’s music plays. Rose comes out and says she is an upgrade over Flair. Paige says there is no way Rose will be replacing Flair. Rose doesn’t understand why Deville was selected and she wasn’t. Rose runs down each member of the Women’s team. Rose makes a crack about Naomi’s husband and Naomi goes at her. Deville and Rose stared each other down but Rose walked away.

Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy

Joe went at Hardy. Hardy gives him the Whisper in the Wind. Joe decks Hardy with a running back elbow.

Out of the break, Joe flattened Hardy in the corner. Joe followed up with an enzuigiri kick for a near fall. Joe puts the hold on Hardy. Hardy picks up the energy from the WWE Universe. Twist of Fate done by Hardy. Hardy goes up for the finishing Swanton. Joe gets his knees up on impact! Joe locks Hardy in the Coquina Clutch and this forced Hardy to tap out.

Winner by submission: Samoa Joe

Afterwards, Joe is all in Bryan’s face. Bryan fights Joe. Bryan puts Joe in the Yes! Lock. Miz pulls Bryan off of Joe and gets laid out. Shane runs in and Bryan threw him to the canvas. Shane asked Bryan what he was thinking and Bryan walks off...
