Good evening and Happy Rusev Day wrestling world! We are weeks away from Summerslam! Tonight should be an eventful night. Stay tuned!

Arriving in a limousine to start the show off is The Miz! He brought his wife, Maryse, and their newborn. They're coming to promote their new reality show, Miz & Mrs.

Making his way to the ring is "The Viper" Randy Orton. We saw him return at Extreme Rules to attack the former U.S. Champion Jeff Hardy. Last week, he destroyed him at ringside, picking him apart in the process. He's out to address why he attacked Hardy. He blames the WWE Universe for why he did what he did. He says that he works his behind off and he's the same guy that's been in WWE for years. Orton looks like a whole new man!

Last night, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H announced the first-ever all-women's PPV called "Evolution." This announcement made history and took over Twitter!

Earlier today, Andrade "Cien" Almas challenged The Bulgarian Brute. Next, they go at it in singles' action!

Early on, Almas and Vega tried getting in the head of Rusev. That doesn't work on a powerhouse like him. Rusev returned the mockery and called his wife up to brag to a recovering Almas. Rusev is in control of this match so far. Rusev goes for the running shoulder attack in the corner and Almas moves, forcing Rusev to go shoulder first into the steel post. Almas capitalizes on the mistake and is wearing Rusev down!

Out of the break, Almas is still in control, holding Rusev in the armbar. Rusev refuses to go down so easily! He's fighting his way back in the match and looks like a wrecking ball doing it. Almas tries to stop Rusev's momentum but Rusev gets back to it. Rusev goes for the kick but Almas counters, follows up with a chop to the chest heard all around the world. That only made the Bulgarian Brute mad. He goes to work on Almas but Almas recovers, picking the energy back up. He runs into the Machka Kick but both men fall to the ground. Vega gets in Rusev's ear and Lana retaliates! They go at it outside of the ring. Aiden English comes to stop the two ladies and pulls Lana off of Vega. Vega jumps on his back, forcing him to bump into Lana and knocks her down. Rusev is distracted by all of this in the mean time. Almas takes advantage of the distraction and puts Rusev away.

R-Truth is getting ready for his first match back on Smackdown. Tye Dillinger is backstage helping him prepare for it. Truth takes on the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe, NEXT!

Lana and Aiden English were backstage arguing. Rusev yelled over the both of them and told them "Maybe none of you are good for Rusev Day!"

Truth and Joe bring the energy to each other. Truth tries to bring the fight to Joe but Joe isn't giving him the benefit of the doubt. Joe puts Truth down and capitalizes with the Coquina Clutch. Truth tap pretty quickly and it's one more victim to add to the list for the Samoan Assassin.

WINNER by submission: SAMOA JOE

Later tonight is the start of the Tag Team tournament to see who will face the Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions at Summerslam. Tonight, it's The New Day vs. SAnitY!

But next, we will see if Billie Kay is ready for Asuka. Women's division singles' action is next!

Asuka starts off looking pretty aggressive but is quickly distracted by Royce on the outside of the ring. Billie Kay takes advantage and takes her down, talking trash in the process. All she did was piss Asuka off. Asuka delivers the Shining Wizard followed by the two count. Billie Kay tries to reach out for Royce but Royce is knocked to the ground. Asuka gives a series of hard kicks to Billie Kay to put her away.

WINNER by pinfall: ASUKA

U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura let Jeff Hardy know that he's no joke, basically.

Tonight, The Irish Lasskicker, Becky Lynch, has a chance to show that she deserves to face Carmella for the Smackdown Women's Title at Summerslam. They go one-on-one later on. If Lynch wins, she earns the #1 Contender's spot for the title.

Next, Paige will reveal who faces "The Champ That Runs the Camp" AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Summerslam!

She brings the champ out and he's hearing it from the WWE Universe in Evansville! They love him! He's giving praise to Stephanie McMahon's announcement of WWE Evolution coming up in October. He's pretty excited to be holding the WWE Championship heading into Summerslam. He signs off on his match and his side is official. Paige asks for a drumroll to make her announcement but James Ellsworth interrupts and is out to tell the WWE Universe that the reason he came back to WWE is for the title. He made it a point that he's defeated Styles 3 times before and 4 times is the charm. He vows to face Styles for the title but Paige stops him and tells him that he's a joke. Ellsworth starts making jokes at her. Paige takes exception to his insults and fires him. She follows security out as they kicked him out.

Samoa Joe runs into the ring behind Styles and beats the champ down, locking him in the Coquina Clutch! Joe signs the contract himself, tips the table over on top of Styles and wants Styles to know that his time is running out. It's on paper, Samoa Joe will face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Summerslam! We all know about their long history together!

Paige confronted Samoa Joe on his attack to the champ. Joe addresses that what he did is what she asked for. What he did was "unpredictable" and "phenomenal!"

Up next, Carmella faces Becky Lynch. Can Becky Lynch get her shot for the title? We will find out!

Becky Lynch has that look in her eye. She's bringing the fight to the champ! She goes for a couple of early Dis-Arm-Hers but Mella makes it to the ropes and breaks the hold. Mella wants no part of Lynch and runs! Of course, The Irish Lasskicker follows her but Carmella capitalizes on the missed baseball slide and throws Lynch into the barricade. Mella begins the wear down on her opponent.

Out of the break, Mella is trying her hardest to get in Becky Lynch's head and crush her Summerslam hopes. Lynch gets herself back into the fight but can't quite keep the edge over the champ. Mella can't keep Lynch down either, showing her frustration and all! She even tried to put her feet up on the ropes and Lynch still powered out of the cheating pin. Lynch knocks Mella down and goes for the leg drop but Mella moves and delivers the kick for the near fall. Lynch counters Mella and goes to Dis-Arm-Her to force the champ to submit!

WINNER and new #1 Contender: BECKY LYNCH

Tonight is the premiere of The Miz's new reality show, Miz & Mrs! He is backstage at Smackdown Live with his wife, Maryse, and their daughter.

Up next, The New Day and SAnitY go at it for the chance to contend for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships at Summerslam! Who will come out on top? Stay tuned!

Smackdown Live Tag Team Tournament - THE NEW DAY VS. SAnitY

With The Usos at the announce table, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe with represent SAnitY and Xavier Woods and Big E will represent The New Day. So far, the match is pretty hard hitting. Dain and Wolfe are delivering an all out beatdown on the smaller Xavier Woods.

Out of the break, Dain still has control over Woods. Woods fights off Dain from the top turnbuckle and follows with the missile dropkick. Both men tag their respective partners in. Big E brings the energy! Eric Young tries to get involved for his team but nothing works. Kofi fights him off at ringside and Woods comes to the rescue. Big E tags Woods in to put SAnitY away with the tag finisher.

The Usos were going to confront The New Day but The Bar interrupts them. The Bar vows to beat The Usos next week on Sunday, beat The New Day and go on to face The Bludgeon Brothers at Summerslam.

The Miz and Maryse are getting ready for their premiere of Miz and Mrs. They wanted Paige to find a babysitter, which was revealed to be Sin Cara. Miz takes exception and just decide to introduce their baby to the WWE Universe. They're on their way out to the ring!

The Miz brought up the destruction of Team Hell No! But cut back to the chase about their new show. He gave a pretty big introduction of his new family. He, once again, took a shot at Daniel Bryan. Instead of showing their daughter to the WWE Universe, he told the WWE Universe to quiet down because the constant mentioning of Bryan isn't good for the baby. He, then, gave a sneak peek of the new show to the world. Instead of showing real clips of the show, it was all bad, embarrassing stuff about The Miz.

Behind all of this was, no one none other than, Daniel Bryan. Bryan stated that he shouldn't apologize via titantron, he should come to the ring and apologize to The Miz in person. Bryan comes out and Miz's security stops him. He lays them both out! He gets in the ring and Maryse tries to stop Bryan from even touching him. Miz throws the baby at Bryan and it's a baby doll! Miz kicks Bryan and gives him the Skull Crushing Finale! He revealed that the baby that we all saw backstage upon their arrival, it was an actor and not their real child. They fooled us all....good one Mizanins! Good one! That sends us all home.

After the show is the premiere of Miz & Mrs. Hope you all enjoyed tonight's edition of Live Coverage. See you all Monday for Raw! Have an awesome rest of the week wrestling world! Good night.
