If AJ loses for the third week in a row tonight, Dean will become the new #1 contender! We will also see Kane face Bray Wyatt in a match with no disqualifications.

DISCUSSION QUESTION: Does Dean Ambrose become #1 contender tonight or will the WWE throw us a curve ball at the last minute and have someone else get the shot in the next few weeks?

Dean Ambrose sees James Ellsworth in the back who then personally thanks Dean for everything that he's done for him over the past couple of weeks. He asks for a favour of being in Dean's corner to watch his back tonight. Dean is hesitant and says that he can just hang and "vibe out" in the locker room and wait for him.

MATCH #1
No DQ Match
Kane vs. Bray Wyatt

Slugfest to start with Kane whipping Bray off the ropes and nailing him with a big clothesline. Bray fires back with right hands and a clothesline of his own for a one count. Bray stomps and hammers away in the corner before slugging him on the back of the head with a clubbing forearm. Bray jumps off the top rope right into a throat thrust though. Kane then delivers a knee in the corner and an avalanche followed by a sidewalk slam. Kane heads up top but Bray slips out of the ring so Kane meets him out there. Bray then grabs a chair but Kane stops him with a right hand and smacks him into the steps. The Big Red Machine preps the announce table and loads up Bray for a chokeslam but the Wyatts video appears, the lights go out and Luke Harper appears. He knocks Kane down with a discus lariat and we go to commercial.

We come back with Bray delivering a clothesline for a two count. He goes to a chinlock but Kane is able to fight up... and then gets splashed in the corner. However, Bray takes too much time and runs right into a big boot. Kane follows it up with a jumping DDT and then heads up with a massive clothesline. He goes for the Chokeslam but Harper pulls Bray out of the ring. Kane then boots both family members but Bray plants him with an STO when they get back in the ring. He goes for Sister Abigail but Kane grabs him by the throat. However, Bray escapes and then takes him down with a double sledge to the chest. This brings out Randy Orton, who squares off with Luke Harper. However, when he and Kane square off with Bray... Randy RKOs Kane! Bray is shocked and then slowly crawls over and gets the win.

WINNER via PINFALL: Bray Wyatt (10:37)

WWE World Champion AJ Styles makes fun of James Ellsworth and then promises to re-arrange Dean Ambrose's face to make it look even worth than Ellsworth's mug.

Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch comes down for an in-ring interview with Renee Young but before she can say much about being back, Alexa Bliss decides to interrupt. She talks about Becky having back surgery and then telling "Katie Couric" (Renee) to head out. She calls Becky a coward but the champ makes fun of her Disney references. Bliss says that Becky is a con artist though and was never actually injured and then asks what her excuse will be in two weeks. She suggests Becky save herself the embarrassment and just hand over the title but Becks laughs it off and promises to hit her over the head with her own arm after she rips it out of its socket. Bliss goes for a cheapshot but Becky is ready. However, Alexa smackss her back into the ringpost and then the barricade before rolling her back in for a DDT. Alexa then goes out and gets spraypaint so she can draw a yellow stripe down the champion's back.

MATCH #2
Survivor Series Qualifying Match
The Hype Bros vs. The Ascension

Vktor starts off quick on the offense on Ryder with a boot and a whip into the corner. He clotheslines Ryder to the outside and then tags in Konnor, who puts the ring skirt over Ryder's head and boots him. Viktor is brought back in and gets a high knee for two before going to the chinlock. Zack goes for the tag but Viktor brings him into the heel corner and tags Konnor back in. Ryder goes for the tag again but Konnor takes him down. He misses a second-rope elbowdrop though and Mojo is finally tagged in. He takes Viktor down with the Pounce and a pair of Lambeau Leaps. Mojo's two count is broken up by Konnor but he gets sent into the corner and Viktor is the victim of the Hype Ryder for the victory.

WINNERS via PINFALL (Mojo over Viktor): The Hype Bros (3:48)

Randy Orton is asked about his actions against Kane earlier tonight but he simply says "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

Daniel Bryan is on the phone and gets interrupted by Natalya, who talks about Hell in a Cell this Sunday and mentions their women's Hell in a Cell match. She thinks that the way to fight back and bring all the attention to the blue brand would be for her to be the captain of the Smackdown women's team. The winner between her and Nikki Bella will captain the team and the loser will NOT be on the team at all.

MATCH #3
Winner becomes the Team Captain; Loser is not on the team
Nikki Bella vs. Natalya

Lockup to start with Nattie grabbing an arm wringer but Nikki reversing to a cradle for a one count. Back to the lockup and this time it's Nattie with a rollup for a one count of her own. Nikki gets a crucifix for one and then a big clothesline but Natalya rolls to the outside. She trips Nikki up on the apron and takes her down on the floor before rolling her back in to garner yet another one count. Nattie goes for the Sharpshooter but Nikki pushes her away and then they collide. Nattie grabs herself another two count. She uses an abdominal stretch to wear Nikki down but gets rolled up for a near fall. Nikki eventually fights back but Nattie flattens her for a two count and then goes to a sleeper hold. Nattie takes her down by the hair and then stomps her opponent before locking in the Sharpshooter. Nikki reaches the ropes so Nattie quickly follows up with a snap suplex but misses a legdrop. Nikki fights back with a corner clothesline and a standing enzuiguri but only gets a two count. She goes for the TKO but Nattie fights out and gets a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Nattie uses an inverted surfboard but Nikki fights out and... gets the STF for the submission victory.

WINNER via SUBMISSION: Nikki Bella (6:40)

Carmella attacks Nikki from behind and hits her with her own Bella Buster.

Dean Ambrose talks about facing AJ Styles tonight.

The Miz [w /Maryse] and the Spirit Squad make their way down to the ring for some promo time. After an opening cheer by Kenny & Mikey, Miz says that 16 days of living in a world where he is no longer the Intercontinental Champion has made for some dark days in the WWE. He labels it as Day 16 of the Dolph Ziggler Intercontinental Title Burial Tour. Miz talks about the legends and former champions having to watch Ziggler carry the belt and crying because of it... and here comes Dolph with a microphone. The IC Champion says that the fans actually have someone that they can get behind now and says he can even have his rematch immediately. However, Miz says that he will have his rematch when he's good and ready. If he wants a fight though... and here come Beauty and the Man-Beast with their titles in hand. Miz pushes Maryse in the way so Heath says they must not actually want a fight. He asks what Miz's problem is so he responds that Heath is a joke and says that they being the tag champions is even more embarrassing than Ziggler being the Intercontinental Champion. Heath "burns" Miz so he responds by reminding him that Kenny pinned him last week. He then challenges Beauty and the Man-Beast to put their titles on the line against the Spirit Squad. Slater says that he just bought about five stocks down in Puerto Rico. Miz accuses Heath of being scared of a couple of male cheerleaders... and Rhyno quickly says "YOU'RE ON."

MATCH #4
Smackdown Tag Team Title Match
Beauty and the Man-Beast (c) vs. The Spirit Squad

Slater has Mikey down in a hammerlock as we come back from the commercial break. Kenny comes in with a boot and a slingshot for two followed by a short-arm clothesline. Mikey comes in and flattens Slate before Kenny comes back in with clubs to the back. Slater gets a backdrop and a boot to the face but Kenny trips him up and then tags Mikey back in. Mikey wrenches a neck vice in on Slater but he comes back with a running high knee. However, Slater manages to tag in Rhyno just as Kenny gets the tag on the other side. Rhyno eats boot and Kenny seemingly injures his left knee but it's a ruse as he rolls up Rhyno off a Mikey cheapshot for a two count. They go for a double-team so Slater nails him and then Rhyno belly-to-bellies Mikey for a two count. Ziggler and Miz get into it on the outside so Heath shoves Kenny onto the former champ. Rhyno then GORES Mikey for the victory.

WINNERS via PINFALL (Rhyno over Mikey): Beauty and the Man-Beast (4:04)

Dean Ambrose finds James Ellsworth sulking and he wants to go out with him and return the favour for helping him over the past few weeks. Dean hesitates and then says "fine." He tells James to be careful.

MATCH #5
Non-Title Match
- if Ambrose wins then he becomes the #1 contender
Dean Ambrose [w /James Ellsworth] vs. AJ Styles (WWE World Champion)

Dean starts off strong by stomping AJ in the corner like a madman before flattening him with a back elbow for barely a one count. He hammers away in the corner with right hands but gets kicked in the mush. However, Dean clotheslines the champ to the outside but AJ then shoves Ellsworth down on his kiester. As Dean checks on him, AJ waylays Ambrose with a forearm shot and we take a commercial break.

As we come back, Dean fights out of a chinlock and then eats a dropkick from AJ, which causes him to roll to the outside. However, Dean manages a tope and then rolls Styles back in. He takes the champ down a couple of times, culminating in a huge lariat and a fisherman's suplex for a near fall. He goes charging in but Styles reverses to the Calf Crusher which Ambrose tries to turn into a cloverleaf. He fights out so Dean gets a backslide for two. Fujiwara armbar is switched over to the Texas Cloverleaf for more punishment on the World Champion as Ellsworth cheers his buddy on. AJ reaches the ropes though and rolls to the apron where Dean tries to bring him back in with a suplex. However, AJ brings him to the other side and then snap suplexes him ON THE APRON! OUCH. We take a well-deserved commercial break.

We come back again and Dean is set up on the top rope. He fights AJ off to counter a superplex but the champ fires right back with vicious headbutts. However, Dean nails him with a face-first release superplex and then dives off with the hooking lariat before the two of them start slugging it out. Dean gets the advantage with vicious forearms and then gets a swinging neckbreaker for a near fall. Dean puts AJ on the top rope but the champ slips out and gets a springboard inverted DDT for a two count. He goes for the Styles Clash but Dean fights out and gets a cradle for a two count followed by a massive rebound lariat. Dean manages a huge superplex and both guys are laid out. Dean then goes for something but AJ locks in the Calf Crusher! James cheers Dean on to grab the ropes but instead he smashes the back of AJ's head into the mat... but the hold is STILL applied. Dean finally grabs the ropes to break the hold... and then AJ basement dropkicks Ellsworth out of NOWHERE! He goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but it's countered. He counters the Dirty Deeds too and gets rolled up for a two count. AJ gets sent to the outside where Ellsworth is waiting and PISSED OFF. He nails AJ with No Chin Music... and that's a DQ.

WINNER via DQ: AJ Styles (19:56)

Dean is distraught to say the least while Ellsworth keeps apologizing at ringside.
