We open with a pretty cool retrospective video package on Smackdown as well as hype for tonight's episode: Miz/Ziggler, Edge, Undertaker, etc.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon open the show by coming out to the stage with microphones. Bryan and Shane hype the night's events with the return of Edge (and the Cutting Edge) and the Undertaker but we begin with the Intercontinental Title match.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. The Miz [w /Maryse]

Lockup to start and Miz goes to a hammerlock. Dolph counters with a go-behind though and then uses a nifty takedown to get the first two count of the match. Miz delivers a shot to the gut but avoids a superkick... and gets rolled up for two. Dolph counters a neckbreaker but hits air on a dropkick attempt and yet he avoids a figure four. Miz avoids another superkick and we take a commercial break.

When we come back, Miz gets caught with a dropkick as he attempts to leap off the top rope. Both men eventually make it to their feet with Dolph catching him with a back elbow but Miz quickly hits him with a neckbreaker for a two count. Miz then goes to work on Ziggler's legs and pulls on his face for a while. He continues to pull on Dolph's leg until Dolph kicks him in the face and goes to the ropes. Miz whips him into the opposite corner but he eats the buckle as he attempts the Awesome Clothesline. Miz recovers but Dolph nails him with a pair of jumping clotheslines and a Stinger Splash. Dolph counters a neckbreaker and hits one of his own followed by a big elbowdrop for a two count. He goes to a sleeper/Coquina Clutch type hold but Miz quickly gets to the ropes. He gets a sunset flip for another near fall but then eats a boot. Miz nearly wins but the ref spots him using the ropes for leverage and halts the count. Miz argues with the ref for too long and that distraction allows Dolph to hit the Fameasser for a VERY close near fall! We take another break.

Dolph gets a rollup for a two count just as we come back from commercials. They slug it out and then Miz avoids the Zig-Zag before taunting Daniel Bryan's "YES" chants. He even does Bryan's kicks (Crowd: "NO!") but the big finale misses and Dolph gets a rollup for two. He quickly hits a running knee and hits the Skull-Crushing Finale BUT IT ONLY GETS TWO! Miz now goes for the Figure Four but Dolph fights out but Miz gets out of a sunset flip and then Dolph counters HIS attempt at a move. ZIG-ZAG GETS TWO as Miz gets his foot on the ropes! Dolph sets up for a superkick but the Spirit Squad runs down so he has to clear them off the apron. Miz uses this opportunity to kick Dolph in the knee and finally lock in the Figure Four! Dolph is finally able to make it to the ropes after a brutal struggle and then gets an inside cradle for a two count... but Maryse shoves them over and Miz ends up on top for the win and the Intercontinental Title for the SIXTH TIME.

WINNER via PINFALL and NEW CHAMPION: The Miz (17:53)

Smackdown Moment: Stone Cold destroys the DX Express.

Alexa Bliss points out to Daniel Bryan that her foot was on the ropes last week and therefore shouldn't have lost. Bryan says that the referee's decision is final and she will get her rematch. He tells her to focus her energy on Survivor Series but she wants to know WHEN her title match will happen. Natalya interrupts with her trusty whistle and quotes Chumbawumba in order to inspire Bliss but it does nothing.

Kalisto vs. Oney Lorcan

Lorcan drives Kalisto into the corner immediately and then whips him into the other corner followed by a vicious elbow to the back. He nails Kalisto with a suplex for a quick near fall but then eats a couple of quick kicks. Kalisto slips off the second rope but Oney recovers quick and gets a two count. Kalisto manages to counter a move and hits Salina Del Sol for the win.

WINNER via PINFALL: Kalisto (1:14)

Smackdown Moment: Shawn Michaels screws over The Rock and counts the pin for Triple H.

Team Smackdown (the one with five tag teams) gets hyped and then Slater bringsin a motivational speaker in the form of KING Booker! Breezango show up to accuse everyone of committing fashion fraud but Booker gets aggravated and makes them put on Smackdown shirts.

Smackdown Moment: John Cena makes his debut against Kurt Angle and then gets a blessing from the Undertaker.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

Nikki and Carmella tie each other up with a lockup that goes nowhere and then the latter does Cena's "you can't see me" taunt. She slaps Nikki and then a footrace on the outside erupts. The match finally sways in one direction with a knee to the face from Nikki followed by a suplex. Nikki then gets a dropkick but Carmella brings her down with a devastating neckbreaker from the apron to the floor. After repeated smacks head-first into the floor and a whip into the steps, Carmella gets back in and grabs a two count. Carmella goes to a fairly innovative chokehold in the ropes but spends too much time gloating and gets rolled up for two. Carm quickly recovers with a superkick for a near fall and then goes to a sleeper hold. Nikki fights to her feet and backs Carmella into the corner but Carmella runs after her in the corner and pounds away followed by pulling on her hair. She doesn't lose her momentum at all by going right back to the sleeper but this time Nikki gets to the ropes. Now, Carmella stomps and chokes her in the corner but misses a bronco buster. Both girls slowl get to their feet... and now Raw Women's Champion Charlotte shows up in the crowd with a purchased ticket. We take a commercial break as the crowd chants "it's legit."

Nikki gets an Alabama Slam and both women are down. She gets a big kick off the second rope but Carmella rolls out so Nikki whips her into the barricade. Nikki gets annoyed with Charlotte and nails her, which is enough for the referee to ring the bell.

NO CONTEST (11:34)

The RAW Women jump Bella so Carmella comes in to help but they take her down as well. However, here comes the rest of the Smackdown girls and we get a huge brawl. In the end, the Smackdown Women reign supreme as Team RAW is left outside the ring.

American Alpha/The Hype Bros/Breezango/The Usos vs. The Spirit Squad/The Vaudevillains/The Ascension/The Headbangers

Jordan uses some takedowns on English but then Jimmy Uso makes the blind tag. He catches Mikey with a superkick and a throat thrust followed by some quick double-teaming from both Usos for a two count. However, Jey gets caught in the heel corner... but then pushes Gotch right back into the face corner. They slug away in the corner and now here comes Mojo Rawley, who shoulderblock Gotch and then catches him with a big bodyslam and a butt drop for a two count. Ryder is next to come in with a neckbreaker for Gotch and grabs a two count. Back to Mojo, who slugs it out with Gotch and knocks him down for a two count. Back to Ryder and Gotch tags in Viktor, who takes Ryder into the turnbuckles. He chokes him out for a bit and then chops him in the corner but Ryder catches him with double knees and a missile dropkick. Viktor gets sent outside and Ryder takes out Konnor but Viktor knocks Ryder down in response as we take a commercial break.

We come back with Konnor working over Ryder with a whip to the heel corner. However, Ryder fights out with elbows to the opposing team members and tags in Chad Gable, who tussles with Mosh. The Headbangers go for the Stage Dive but Gable backdrops Mosh and hits an Avalance Alphaplex on Thrasher for a two count. The Spirit Squad lay out Jordan but Breezango take them down and then the Ascension clear THEM out of the ring. The Hype Bros and Vaudevillains send each other packing and then the Usos dive onto EVERYONE. Grand Amplitude connects on Thrasher for Gable to get the three count.

WINNERS via PINFALL (Gable over Thrasher): American Alpha/The Hype Bros/Breezango/The Usos (10:50)

- Guests: Team Smackdown (WWE World Champion AJ Styles/Dean Ambrose/Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt/Shane McMahon) [w /James Ellsworth]

Edge puts over Smackdown before bringing the team down to the ring en masse. Edge puts Ellsworth over as the beacon of light on this show and the personification of what it means to be on the blue brand. He wants to do a five-second pose with Edge but Styles interrupts and says that it's stupid. AJ says he runs this place and that no one cares about Ellsworth or Edge but our host snubs AJ and asks Randy if he's even on this planet anymore after he has seemingly joined the Wyatt Family. Bray responds by saying that the old Randy is dead... but this Sunday the world will see a more dangerous viper than ever before. Edge mentions Shane having to keep everyone co-operating with each other so our fearless owner tells AJ that this is Shane O'Macdown. AJ says that Ambrose can't control his temper and then they get in each other's face about playing nice at Survivor Series. Just then, the lights go out and the Undertaker's music hits bringing out the Dead Man himself. He hails Shane as having no fear and then says he's here for two reasons: Wrestlemania will no longer define who he is because he's back... taking souls and digging holes. The second reason is regarding Survivor Series and says that if they fail, they will have reason to fear the Dead Man. He says that Team RAW better rest... in... peace.
