WWE World Champion AJ Styles comes down to the ring to start the show and... Tom Phillips is also at the announce table for some reason. He doesn't care about anyone's jeers or cheers and tells everyone to have a seat and be quiet. He claims Ambrose cheated to get a shot at his title at TLC. AJ claims that James Ellsworth ("that mutant turtle") is an embarrassment to sports-entertainment and blames him for this title match. He's not allowed to make any physical contact with Dean because of them being on the same team at Survivor Series. He decides to bring down Team Smackdown but before he can introduce anyone, Baron Corbin comes down and says that he WILL deliver but not for AJ's team. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Randy Orton then appear in the entrance and slowly approach the ring so AJ welcomes them to TEAM STYLES. Finally, Dean Ambrose makes his way down to the ring and then brings James Ellsworth with him. AJ's got a problem with Ellsworth so Dean tells AJ to go through HIM then. AJ says that Dean is outnumbered right now but Corbin takes off. Everyone squares off and here comes Shane McMahon for the first time in quite a little while. He asks if everyone wants to prove that they are the best in the business and says that they'll need to win at Survivor Series in order to prove that point. Shane lets Ellsworth announce himself that he'll be the official mascot for Team Smackdown. As for tonight, Shane wants to get some issues out of the way by making it Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin and James Ellsworth vs. The New Wyatt Family.
Baron tells Shane that he's not interested in the 6-man tag tonight but Shane says that it's not a request. Baron says to kick him off the team if it's a problem. Shane then offers Baron a match against Kalisto instead so he just smiles in response and shakes his head.
Survivor Series Qualifying Match
Breezango vs. The Vaudevillains
Gotch takes Breeze down with a fireman's carry slam early followed by a swanton bomb from English but Fandango breaks it up at two. However, he gets tossed quickly and that leaves Breeze to nail Gotch with an enzuiguri. Fandango is tagged in but gets kicked to the outside by Gotch. He quickly gets Fandango back in and tags in English but Fandango quickly nails English with a falcon arrow for the win.
WINNERS via pinfall (Fandango over English): Breezango (1:16)
Nikki Bella joins the announce table for color commentary.
Naomi vs. Natalya
Naomi gets a quick rollup for one but Nattie takes her down and puts a knee in her back for some punishment but then changes her mind and grabs a sleeper. Naomi uses a jawbreaker to fight out but they collide on a cross-body spot. Out comes Carmella, who decides to get in Nikki's face. Nattie separates them but Nikki shoves her down and then nails Carmella. Nattie then almost loses track of the match and makes it back into the ring on the count of 9. Naomi quickly rolls her up for the win.
WINNER via PINFALL: Naomi (2:02)
Baron Corbin attacks Kalisto before their match can even start and he throws him out of the ring. However, Kalisto comes back with a shot on his knee and then kicks it into the steel steps. Officials crowd Baron so Kalisto comes back in with a top-rope splash on the leg for good measure.
Shane and Bryan discuss how they will have to replace Baron Corbin on Team Smackdown.
WWE Smackdown Women's Title Match
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
Lockup to start and Lynch goes for the arm early on so Bliss quickly escapes. Becky grabs a quick one count as does Bliss and they run through a series of rollup reversals. Becky gets an armdrag and quickly gets back to her feet but Bliss goes high with kicks to the face and tosses her out of the ring. Bliss sends Becky into the steps and then smacks her arm onto the floor. Back in and Bliss continues to work her over and applies an armbar. Becky fights out but Bliss hangs on and grabs a one count. She goes back to the armbar and then starts to ram Becky's arm into the ringpost. Bliss yanks on Becky's arm in the middle of the ring and then grabs a quick two count but Becky dead-lifts her way out with a sit-down powerbomb as we take a commercial break.
We come back with Becky getting a near fall off a rollup and then booting Bliss in the face. She gets a pair of clotheslines and a heel kick following it up with a flying firearm in the corner and a Bexplex for two. She heads up top but misses something and Bliss delivers knees to the gut for a two count. She slaps Becky around but they exchange vicious forearms in the middle of the ring. Bliss gets a rollup out of the corner for a two count. She heads up top but Bliss trips her up and gets a DDT off the top rope for a two count. Bliss lands on Becky's knees but they exchange rollups. Becky finally manages to get the Dis-Arm-Her for the win even though Alexa's foot was on the ropes.
WINNER via SUBMISSION: Becky Lynch (14:51)
Daniel Bryan and Shane talk about the Smackdown team but Miz and Maryse interrupt and get mad about Dolph Ziggler defending the IC Title against a RAW guy in Sami Zayn. The Brian Kendrick will defend the Cruiserweight Title against Smackdown's own, Kalisto... and if he wins the entire Cruiserweight division goes to Smackdown Live. Bryan DOES offer Miz an IC Title shot next week on Smackdown and Maryse accepts for him.
Apollo Crews vs. Curt Hawkins
Curt starts off quick with stomps in the corner and a big back suplex for a quick one count. He goes to a cobra clutch but Crews fights out of it and gets a big jumping clothesline and enzuiguri for a near fall. Another two count for Crews but Hawkins reverses a whip. Crews misses a top-rope cross-body and Hawkins quickly rolls him up for the big upset.
WINNER via PINFALL: Curt Hawkins (1:41)
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler is psyched to take on the Miz and beat him next week in a title defense and then successfully defend it against Sami Zayn at Survivor Series as well.
WWE World Champion AJ Styles joins the announce table for color commentary.
Dean Ambrose/Kane/James Ellsworth vs. Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt/Luke Harper
Kane starts with Harper and quickly grabs him by the neck but gets superkicked in the gut. Kane backdrops him and tags in Ambrose, who eats boot. Bray comes in now but Dean hammers away and puts him in the corner for kicks to the gut. Dean chops him on the ropes but gets cheapshotted by Harper. Bray tags in Orton much to Harper's dismay. Randy gets a clothesline on Dean and does the Garvin Stomp all over the Lunatic Fringe. Kane tags in and goes to work on Orton and gets a sidewalk slam and then tells Ellsworth to stop reaching for a tag. Kane is sent to the corner, allowing Orton to stomp him down and tag Bray back in. Bray squashes Kane in the corner and gets a senton splash for a near fall before tagging Harper back in. He puts Kane in the heel corner and then Orton comes back in now. He slugs Kane down in the corner and we take a break.
As we come back, Bray and Luke are double-teaming Kane. Luke grabs a side headlock but the monster fights out of it and... gets kicked down. Orton gets tagged back in and pounds away on Kane for a two count before going back to the headlock again. A big dropkick puts Kane down followed by a tag to Harper, who goes to work on Kane with vicious throat thrusts. Kane DDTs him to finally get some offense and then makes the tag to Ambrose while Bray gets tagged in on the other side. Dean takes out both Wyatts and then hits a pescado on Orton. He follows that up with a tope suicida on Bray AND Randy followed by heading up to the top rope. Bray catches him but Dean counters Sister Abigail with a rollup for a two count. Harper then boots Ambrose down but Kane attacks him and brawls with Harper all the way up the ramp. Back in the ring, Bray and Ambrose clothesline each other down so Ellsworth tags himself in after the crowd motivates him to do so. Ellsworth revs up and goes for No Chin Music but Wyatt easily catches him with Sister Abigail for the win.
WINNERS via PINFALL (Bray over Ellsworth): Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt/Luke Harper (13:05)
Dean checks on Ellsworth and then Shane McMahon quickly runs down to calm things so that everyone can be a team at Survivor Series. Daniel Bryan then follows up by running down and names Baron Corbin's Survivor Series replacement: Shane McMahon, who accepts the responsibility.
