Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon watch the footage from last week's IC Title match and then see James Ellsworth, who clearly has some type of cold because he keeps sneezing. Shane asks how James is going to face AJ tonight if he's sick like this so they send him home until he recovers. Meanwhile, they're going to have to find a new #1 contender.

mizTV w/Intercontinental Champion The Miz [w /Maryse]
- Guest: WWE Champion AJ Styles

AJ says that James has come down with a little CHIN-fluenza and says that when they eventually have the match, he will destroy James in the middle of this ring. They laugh about James and then they kiss each other's butts for a while before AJ is asked what's next for him. He doesn't know though because he's beaten John Cena and Dean Ambrose and there's no one else out there. He doesn't know of anyone else on his level which Miz agrees with but does add that he's taken his Intercontinental Title and made it legendary. Miz then says that he's above AJ's level and maybe it's time that he make the WWE Title legendary as well. They start to square off but Dean Ambrose quickly interrupts followed by Dolph Ziggler, who grabs a microphone and says that AJ and Miz can't seem to win a match without cheating. Dolph makes a comment about Maryse that earns him a Skull-Crushing Finale but then Dean takes Miz down with Dirty Deeds. Styles simply leaves the ring but then Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds on Ziggler too! Out of nowhere, Luke Harper appears in the ring and nails Ambrose witth a lariat before pointing at Styles' title.

AJ Styles asks Daniel and Shane for protection and they announce an Ambrose/Ziggler/Harper/Miz elimination match tonight with the winner getting a WWE Title shot on the Dec. 27th Smackdown.

Nikki Bella joins the announce table for color commentary. Nattie then takes the microphone and tells Nikki that she was NOT the one that attacked her at Survivor Series but then Carmella's music cuts her off.

Natalya vs. Carmella

Nattie takes down Carmella quickly and then rolls her back in when she tries to run away. Carmella escapes to the outside a second time and then slaps her opponent when she tries to drag her back into the ring. We take an early commercial break just as Carmella takes control.

We're back with Nattie hitting Carmella with a snap suplex and then smacks her in the face. She hits her with a second snap suplex and then takes Carm into the corner before drilling her with some knees. Carmella comes back with a big clothesline and grabs a two count. She nails the Bronco Buster to grab another near fall and then locks her in a body scissors. Nattie manages to turn it around with some ground & pound but Carmella merely turns it around into a guillotine submission hold. Nattie fights out of it and baseball slide dropkicks her to the outside. She gets in Nikki's face a bit but then shoves Nikki out of the way and nails Carmella to prevent her from hitting Nikki. Nattie is still distracted though and Carmella cradles her for the win.

WINNER via PINFALL: Carmella (9:06)

Gabriel Iglesias does a bit with Apollo Crews until Miz and Maryse show up to try and get him to keep it down. Gabriel makes a lame "Uranus" joke and hopefully that's the end of his cameo.

#1 Contendership Tag Team Battle Royale
American Alpha vs. Hype Bros vs. Beauty and the Man-Beast vs. Breezango vs. The Vaudevillains vs. The Ascension

Mojo IMMEDIATELY eliminates Simon Gotch but both team members must be eliminated for an entire team to be eliminated in this match. These things are really hard to call. Everyone's just pairing off and pushing each other near the ropes. Ryder nearly gets Breeze out but he hangs on. The Ascension work over Mojo but he's too big and stays in this thing. Lots of near-eliminations in this thing but not a lot happening otherwise. Slater nails English with a pretty nice seated dropkick in the corner. Gable uses his rope-assisted armbar to eliminate Viktor but Konnor quickly charges Gable and eliminates HIM. Slater accidentally nails Rhyno with a forearm smash and eliminates his own partner as we go to a commercial break.

We come back with Fandango managing to eliminate Mojo Rawley when his own momentum carries him over the top. Jordan then eliminates English in grand fashion before Slater trips up Fandango and sends him packing. Jordan goes nuts with shoulders in the corner for everyone as well as a number of suplexes but Konnor cuts him off. Surprisingly, Konnor holds Jordan in place while Breeze sends him tumbling thus eliminating American Alpha! Breeze and Konnor attempt to team up on Slater and Ryder but the One-Man Band mounts a comeback on everyone in the match. Konnor and Slater slug it out near the ropes but Slater fights back... and gets tossed out by Konnor! We are down to Breeze, Konnor and Ryder. The heels continue to work together to attack Ryder but then Breeze tries to turn on Konnor. However, Breeze gets knocked to the apron. Konnor goes after Ryder but knocks Breeze out of the ring! Ryder then manages to catch Konnor with a rana and send him out for the win!

WINNERS: Zack Ryder (The Hype Bros) (13:33)

Alexa Bliss cuts off the ring announcer before he can mention her opponent and the champ says that "I don't do charity cases." She refers to her opponent/local athlete as "Jane" Ellsworth and then forearms her in the face before tossing her out of the ring. Becky Lynch comes out and cuts her off and apologizes for asking for her rematch when Bliss was not even in her ring gear. But since both of them are in their gear now, Becky asks for the rematch right now. Bliss shuts up the crowd and then says that Becky's got her match... just not tonight. Alexa quickly leaves but then Shane McMahon makes an appearance to interrupt this segment. He makes that rematch RIGHT NOW.

WWE Smackdown Women's Title Match
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Bliss plays chicken with her challenger at first before they finally lock up and Becky immediately tries for the Dis-Arm-Her but Bliss goes to the ropes. Becky takes her down into a front facelock and flips her over for a two count but Bliss takes her down by the feet. However, Becky goes to a side headlock and then switches out to a hammerlock. Bliss elbows out and gets armdragged a couple of times. Becky charges but eats the corner but so does Bliss, allowing Becky to hit a side kick. Bliss catches her on the rebound with a kick to the mid-section for a two count. She misses the double knees to the gut and Becky gets a crucifix for two. She nails Bliss with a couple of clotheslines and a dropkick followed by the fire-arm in the corner. Alexa blocks a Bexploder but the champ goes to the Dis-Arm-Her. Bliss is quick again to go to the ropes and then rolls to the outside where they slug it out. Becky takes the champ down with a forearm before rolling her back in but Bliss goes out the other side and favours her knee. Becky tries to go out and follow up but the ref backs her up and continues his count, thus counting Alexa Bliss out of the ring.

WINNER via COUNTOUT: Becky Lynch (4:32)

A post-match fight reveals that Alexa's knee is just fine and she takes a bit of a beating before bailing to the outside... and selling her knee again.

John Cena returns in two weeks.

WWE Champion AJ Styles joins the announce table for color commentary.

#1 Contendership Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (Intercontinental Champion) [w /Maryse] vs. Luke Harper

The match starts off quick with Harper making mincemeat of Ambrose and Ziggler, leaving Miz terrified in the corner. The IC Champion just claps and offers to team up with him but Harper throat thrusts him and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. He misses a clothesline on Ziggler though, leaving he and Ambrose to send him out of the ring. Ziggler gets a rollup on Miz for two but he quickly comes back with a DDT for a two count of his own. Miz uses a baseball slide to keep Ambrose and Harper from entering the ring and then does the "Yes" kicks on Ziggler, thus mocking Daniel Bryan. He misses the last one but still gets his corner dropkicks on Ziggler. Ambrose interrupts a third one and then dives onto Harper but gets caught. Harper boots Ambrose down and quickly gets into the ring to nail Ziggles with a vicious backbreaker. A slingshot on the second rope has Dolph reeling and gets a two count for Harper. Harper uses more throat thrusts on Ziggler and then takes him into the opposite corner for more punishment on the back. Harper then goes outside to whip Ambrose into the barricade and then goes after the Miz but the IC Champion retreats. Back in the ring, he gets a torture rack on Ziggler but Ambrose grabs Harper for Dirty Deeds. Ziggler breaks THAT up with a superkick, Harper lariats Ziggler and then Ambrose clotheslines Harper in return! Miz quickly comes in and steals a trio of two counts but Ambrose suddenly catches Miz with an inside cradle to eliminate him at 6:48. We take a commercial break.

We come back from the break with Ziggler kicking out of a fisherman's suplex from Ambrose. He follows up with a swinging backbreaker but it's just another near fall. Now we go to a modified STF on Ziggler but he manages to escape it by yanking on Dean's nose. The Lunatic stays on the offense with a snap suplex for two and then heads up top but Ziggler runs up the ropes. However, Harper runs in and puts Dolph on his shoulders. However, Ziggler catches him with the Zig-Zag but Ambrose then hits the top-rope hooking clothesline on Dolph and gets two. Dean and Dolph go through a series of pinfall reversals until knocking each other down with a cross-body collision in the middle of the ring. Harper boots both guys and then catches Dean with a swinging sidewalk slam but only gets two. A big sit-out powerbomb on Ziggler gets another very close near fall. Harper goes corner to corner on both guys but Ziggler manages a superkick and Ambrose drops Harper with Dirty Deeds to eliminate him at 15:14.

We are now down to Ambrose vs. Ziggler and both guys are exhausted. Ziggler opens up with clotheslines, a stinger splash and a neckbreaker but misses an elbow. Dean uses this time to crawl to the apron and Ziggler follows him out there only to take a slingshot into the ringpost! Dean manages to roll Dolph back into the ring and slowly crawl to the top rope but Ziggler runs up and nails him with an AVALANCHE FACEBUSTER! Dean gets an inside cradle out of nowhere for two though and then they knock each other down with clotheslines at the same time! Miz is back out now for some reason so Dolph foolishly goes after him. However, Ambrose takes Miz down with a tope suicida and Dolph superkicks the IC Champion! Dean then tosses Dolph into the ringpost and rolls him into the ring but when he tries to roll back in, Miz grabs his foot. Dean nails Miz and then goes back into the ring where Ziggler superkicks him and gets the huge win in 19:16!

WINNER: Dolph Ziggler (19:16)
