Randy Orton arrives to the building to talk about facing Alberto Del Rio tonight before saying that it will take only one RKO to take Brock to Viperville. Alberto interrupts and teases breaking Orton's arm.

The Wyatt Family come down to the ring to open the show and Bray grabs the microphone. He says that he did not fall to Dolph Ziggler last week but rather he was a victim to Ziggler's deception as he had to use the exposed turnbuckle to win the match. Bray calls himself a God and says that Dolph can NOT kill a God. He promises to cut right through Dolph with his teeth, which are like razor-sharp knives. Bray decides Smackdown is his show and says that this show is Bray Wyatt against the whole world. WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose decides to interrupt and says that the Wyatt Family are a couple of babies. Dean says that Smackdown belongs to him and the people but Bray just laughs and challenges him to come and face him. Dean is too smart for that though but Dolph Ziggler comes out and attacks both Wyatts. Ambrose helps him but then Wyatt causes a Ziggler superkick to strike Ambrose! The Wyatts leave having laid out the title match participants at SummerSlam in the middle of the ring.

Dean Ambrose gets in Dolph Ziggler's face about the miscommunication but Dolph says he wasn't saving him but rather just getting revenge on the Wyatts. Things get heated but Bryan and Shae tell them to save it for SummerSlam because tonight they'll be teaming up together to take on the Wyatt Family.

American Alpha vs. Mikey O'Shea/Mike Vega

For some reason, the Ascension, the Vaudevillains and the Hype Bros come out before this match can start proper. Both members of American Alpha toss Vega around like nothing. They get a double hiptoss on O'Shea but then Vega's shots on Jordan only fire him up. JJ hits Vega with an overhead belly-to-belly and they hit Grand Amplitude for the victory over Vega.

WINNERS via PINFALL (Gable over Vega): American Alpha (1:13)

We get a brawl between all the tag teams in the ring as the announcers talk about Tag Team Titles arriving to Smackdown! Live. By the end of the brawl, American Alpha are standing tall.

Renee Young interviews Intercontinental Champion The Miz [w /Maryse], who just gushes about his wife rather than worry about the title defense at SummerSlam. Renee shows a video package of Apollo winning that very title shot last week on Smackdown and when we come back to the live show, Miz and Maryse are outstretched and very close to each other on the desk.

Eva Marie tries to wrestle Becky Lynch but once again the match does not take place and this time it's because of a "wardrobe malfunction." Becky is upset and challenges anyone to come down and face her instead because she wants to wrestle, damn it. Alexa Bliss answers the call and says that she's here to bring bliss to the show and can't wait to knock off the show's #1 draft pick.

Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss

As we come back from commercial, Bliss is choking Becky on the ropes. She grabs a quick two count before yanking on Becky's hair. After another pair of two counts, Bliss goes to town with right hands and ANOTHER two count. Becky fights out of a hold and delivers a pair of clotheslines and a heel kick. She nails Bliss with a forearm in the corner and then the Becksploder. Suddenly, Eva Marie "is now ready to compete" and she comes back to the ring with her full entrance. The distraction is enough for Alexa to execute Twisted Bliss and pick up the win.

WINNER via PINFALL: Alexa Bliss (2:34)

Eva Marie "feels really bad for Becky" and says that Alexa beat her to the punch but she will be ready to make her debut next week.

Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio

Both guys circle for a while before we get a lockup that goes nowhere. Randy manages to grab a headlock and then takes Alberto down with a shoulderblock, which causes him to stall for a moment. Alberto goes for his kicks to the legs and tries to smash him into the corner but Orton blocks and hits some European uppercuts. He whips Del Rio hard into the opposite buckle and runs over him with a massive clothesline. A catapult nails Del Rio's throat off the bottom rope and that gives Randy his first two count. Alberto mounts a comeback with more kicks but Orton side-steps him and sends Alberto to the outside.

When we come back from commercial, Randy is still in control with the Garvin Stomp and a kneedrop. That gets Randy a two count. Del Rio finally hits something as he nails him with a backstabber and then tosses Orton to the outside. He smashes Randy's arm into the ring steps a couple of times and then gets a two count back in the ring. He goes to an armbar but Alberto goes to the eyes and hits a standing dropkick. He puts Del Rio on the top rope and slugs away on him but Del Rio catches him with a cross-armbreaker but they're in the ropes. Del Rio then goes up top but Orton crotches him and gets a superplex! We get a slugfest between the two, which culminates in a pair of clotheslines and a powerslam from Randy followed by the draping DDT... no, Alberto counters! Orton counters that though but then Del Rio goes for the cross-armbreaker. Orton counters but Alberto gets out of the RKO... and NOW Randy gets that draping DDT! Alberto avoids an RKO attempt so Randy goes nuts and exposes the announce table. Del Rio chairshots Randy's arm for the DQ!

WINNER via DQ: Randy Orton (12:20)

Alberto continues the attack with a chair but Randy catches him with the RKO outta nowhere!

Heath Slater interrupts Rhyno's workout and basically asks him to lose the match but Rhyno is a politician now so he needs to impress his constituents. Slater gets caught in a lie about the number of kids he has and it looks like he'll have to wrestle an actual match.

The Miz tries to recall all the Scooby-Doo DVDs but then Scooby locks him in the Mystery Machine and gets in Miz's expensive car.

Rhyno vs. Heath Slater

They lock up and trade armbars but Rhyno takes him down with a short-arm clothesline. Chops rock Slater in the corner but the One-Man Band fires back with a hard whip into the corner and a running boot for a two count... and then two more near falls. Slater goes to a chinlock and then goes for another pinfall as he gets more and more frustrated. We go back to the chinlock but Rhyno fights out of it and hits a big belly-to-belly suplex. Heath avoids the Gore and gets a rollup but the ref spots him using the ropes for leverage and doesn't make the count. Rhyno then hits the Gore for the victory!

WINNER via PINFALL: Rhyno (3:05)

Erick Rowan appears on the big screen and Bray Wyatt asks him to prepare to give his life for their family so they can show the world that their cause is worth dying for - they need to destroy their opponents.

Bryan and Shane agree that Heath Slater showed a lot of heart tonight and embodies the spirit of a Smackdown superstar. However, Heath comes in and goes on a long rant about how this show doesn't DESERVE him even though Bryan was just about to offer him a contract.

Carmella vs. Natalya

Nattie tries to jump her but Carmella is ready this time. However, once the match starts, Natalya takes over and chokes Carm on the ropes. Nattie gets the first two count of the match and follows it up with a couple of snap suplexes. Nattie stomps away and then gets a bow-and-arrow submission to wear her down. Nattie takes her down by the hair but Carmella nearly pins her with a rollup. Natalya cockily sits on her for a two count. She goes to an abdominal stretch now and when Carmella escapes, Natalya catches her with a clothesline. Carmella fights out of the Sharpshooter and gets her Code of Silence submission finish for the win.

WINNER via SUBMISSION: Carmella (4:07)

Renee Young introduces a lengthy history package for the John Cena/AJ Styles match at SummerSlam.

Baron Corbin assaults Kalisto in the back for costing him the Intercontinental Title shot last week. Officials call for some medical assistance.

Dean Ambrose (WWE Champion)/Dolph Ziggler vs. The Wyatt Family

The Wyatts go on the attack immediately with Bray and Dean starting in the ring. The champ pounds Bray with some right hands in the cornner but Ziggler tags himself in, which pisses off Dean. Bray catches Ziggler with a shot to the back but Dolph comes back with a dropkick. A cheapshot from Rowan puts the Wyatts back in control and Dolph rolls to the outside.

As we come back from commercials, Dolph and Bray slug it out and then the latter misses his senton splash. Dean gets the hot tag and goes to work on both Wyatts but Bray is eventually able to slug him down with a clothesline. Rowan tags in and gets a splash for a two count and then wears down the champion with a hold followed by some clubbing forearms in the corner. He boots Dean out of the ring, where the champ falls victim to a uranage onto the ring apron by Bray Wyatt. They both go for their finishes and a series of reversals leads to a neckbreaker by Ambrose. Rowan and Ziggler are both tagged in with the latter hitting a series of clotheslines and a neckbreaker. Elbowdrop gets two. A rollup gets another two count and then a DDT for yet another near fall. Rowan blocks the superkick and hits a spinkick for a two count of his own. Dolph nails the Zig-Zag out of nowhere but Bray breaks up the pinfall attempt. Ambrose nails Bray with a tope suicida to the outside and then back in the ring, Dolph superkicks Rowan for the victory.

WINNERS via PINFALL (Ambrose over Rowan): Dean Ambrose/Dolph Ziggler (10:40)

They celebrate until Dean nails Ziggler with Dirty Deeds just for the hell of it.

That's it, folks! Thanks for joining us for Smackdown! Live
