WWE Smackdown Results
The show opens with Sheamus, he said when he returned to the WWE everyone chanted "you look stupid." Everyone proved what he already thought, that the people were narrow minded with pea sized brain. He feels like a million dollars, actually way more because his case is worth it's weight in gold. He is just one opportunity away from becoming the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. If there is anyone out there who thinks they can stand in his way...well let's look at what happened to Randy Orton on Raw. *Footage airs* There are a few factors in play right now, Seth Rollins, The Authority and Brock Lesnar. No one, NO ONE is going to stand in his way. He promises...you will be entertained.
-Dean Ambrose interrupts- Sorry Sheamus, I don't speak Irish gibberish, did you say no one would stop you, because I did when I pinned you. If it weren't for Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns would be holding that contract, not him. If you want to keep sitting their spitting lies, instead of fighting, maybe I'll beat you for the second time and take that contract and give it to it's rightful owner.
-Sheamus: You'd love to do that, because you love to steal from others, that's your thing. If you want this Money in the Bank contract and get it. *places contract on the mat* I know you don't have the stones to get in here and take it from me
-Kane interrupts- No one is taking anything, Dean you like to make trouble and make life difficult for everyone, but as Sheamus said you're not real good at following through.
-Dean: I'm kind of in the middle of something here Kane, can't you go pick up The Authority's dry cleaning or something?
-Kane: I'm getting really tired of your disrespect so here's what we're going to do. Just like we did to Randy Orton on Raw, it's going to be Sheamus and myself vs. you (Dean Ambrose) in a handicap match. And that starts, right now!

Owens: Are you a Machine Gun Kelly fan Renee? You look like you'd LOVE his stuff. Look I already apologized, I said I got carried away. It wouldn't have happened if he hadn't put his hands on me first. He can blame his buddy John Cena who wasn't there to protect him.
Renee: How do you respond to criticism from your match with Dolph Ziggler on Raw?
Owens: Title match or non title match, why does it matter? I beat him. You remember right? *Renee nods yes* Use the microphone please.
Renee: You beat him.
Owens: See so who cares. I'm not John Cena, I don't need to pander to the crowd. I like it when people earn their title matches against me. Let me make something perfectly clear, there will be no NXT Championship open challenge tonight. Can I help you?
*Cesaro walks up*
Cesaro: I keep hearing all this fight Owens fight hype, but I come up and all I hear is talk Owens talk.
Owens: Very cute.

Bo: Lana you're on what's called the rebound. It's difficult to see you like this, it breaks my heart. Not as much as it breaks my heart to see Rusev like this. You left your man in his darkest hours, with a broken heart, body and broken soul. Despicable! Literally the worst rebound ever. If Dolph Ziggler's profile popped up he'd swipe left. You can find a real man, all you have to do...IS BOOOLIEEEEVEEE!

Seth Rollins comes out to address the crowd.
Seth: I am the biggest star in WWE. I am the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and I am the undisputed future of this industry. Now I know that no one here will understand what it feels like to be in this position, so let me take a moment to explain it to you people. 24 hours a day 7 days a week I am under the most intense scrutiny imaginable, everything I do is magnified for the world to see. Do I ever get a thank you? A pat on the back? No. This week has taken it to a new level, all I get is how do you feel about facing Brock Lesnar at Battleground. My first reaction was shock, Brock Lesnar was probably the absolute last person I expected Triple H and Stephanie to have me face. Hell the last time we saw Brock he was brutalizing WWE employees, a camera man, Michael Cole. But as he walked down this ramp and circled this ring like a shark, that shocked turned into understanding. See there is no other way, this is how it has to be. I have beaten everyone else. Orton, Reigns, Ambrose. For me to cement my legacy I have to beat Brock Lesnar at Battleground. The same Brock Lesnar who beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. The guy that took John Cena and Roman Reigns to suplex city. That guy stood in the ring with me on Monday and did NOTHING. And do you know why? Because Brock Lesnar remembers WrestleMania. He knows better than anyone how dangerous I could be. If he took one swing at me, I would have knocked his teeth down his throat and that mystique he walks around with would have been gone forever! I am the diamond that Triple H thinks that I am, and at Battleground I will shine brighter than I ever have. So the answer to how do I feel about fighting Brock Lesnar? I can't wait.
Roman is backstage with Ambrose. Ambrose says he can't wait for their match tonight! He can't wait to rip the beads from the stupid face of Sheamus. How long does it take him to get his stupid hair like that. Roman is zoning out. Ambrose asks him if he's here with him. Roman says he's good. Ambrose says don't let Wyatt get in his head.
