From Verizon Arena in Little Rock, AR
Report by James B. of WrestlingNewsWorld.com

Will there be any last-minute twists or turns before Night of Champions? Thanks for hanging out for another night of Smackdown!

The show opens with a Monday Night Raw recap followed by a lengthy monologue from Seth Rollins. After some menacing words for John Cena and Sting, Rollins announces he will be teaming up with Sheamus tonight to face Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in the main event. Sheamus heads down to the ring to remind Rollins that even though they are partners tonight, he still holds the MITB briefcase. They each leave the ring after playfully calling one another ¨friend¨.

**Break**

Team PCB heads to the ring as we get another Raw recap showing the punishment that Team B.A.D. delivered Paige last week. We've got ourselves a tag match between Paige and Becky Lynch against Sasha Banks and Naomi. Becky Lynch starts the match with impressive offense against Sasha Banks with several roll-ups and pin combinations. Becky goes for a high risk move on the middle rope, but Sasha catches her with a big kick to turn the momentum before the commercial break.

**Break**

We return from the break with Becky Lynch hanging upside-down in Team B.A.D.'s corner. After roughly seven minutes on the apron, Paige is finally tagged in and clears everyone out of the ring before proclaiming ¨This is her house¨. Sasha distracts Paige from the ring apron, allowing Naomi to apply a small package for the pinfall. Charlotte consoles Becky after the loss, leaving Paige to pound the ring in frustration.

**Break**

¨Awwww Little Rock!!¨ The New Day make their way to the ring with their patented picket signs and dance moves. After a lengthy ¨Save the Tables¨ PSA, Big E brings out a clipboard and a petition for the Dudley Boyz to sign. The clipboard quickly finds itself broken in half, thanks to the knee of D-Von Dudley. The actual match lasts less than a minute as Big E provides a distraction and Kofi rolls up D-Von for the win. The New Day grabs the table from underneath the ring and run up to the top of the ramp in an attempt to ¨save¨ it.

**Break**

We return to the ring after a (painful) Team Bella backstage segment with Cesaro getting ready to square off against the Big Show. As soon as the bell rings, Cesaro unleashes two incredible dropkicks, catching the seven-footer in the jaw. Cesaro attacks the arm in an attempt to neutralize the KO punch and the chokeslam. Cesaro knocks the big man down twice, once with a cross-body from the top rope and another using a flying upper-cut. But when he goes for the Neutralizer, the Big Show reverses it into a back body drop and a knockout punch. 1-2-3, goodnight Cesaro.

Renee Young catches up with Reigns and Ambrose backstage who are very excited for their third partner to face the Wyatt Family on Sunday, but refuse to give any hints as to his identity.

**Break**

Dolph Ziggler (without Lana) heads to the ring to face Kevin Owens. After some early offense by Ziggler, Owens goes on the attack, adding some hilarious commentary along the way. He yells at the referee, the crowd, and Ziggler all within a 20-second span. Dolph goes for his big DDT, but Owens counters into a DDT of his own. After some back-and-forth action, Ziggler hits an impressive Famouser, followed by the big DDT he attempted earlier. The action spills outside where Owens launches Ziggler into the timekeeper area. Ziggler barely makes the 10-count back into the ring, but Owens hits a huge superkick, knocking him right back out to the floor. Owens gets him set up for a powerbomb as ¨Feed Me More¨ hits the Titan Tron and Ryback rushes in for the save. Ryback delivers a few huge slams, but Owens escapes before Ryback can hit Shell Shock.

**Break**

Trust me guys, a detailed recap of the Bella-bration is not needed. No one showed up, cake was thrown, Adam Rose threw in a one-liner, and Charlotte threatened Nikki. Got it? Good! Moving on...

Ambrose and Reigns head to the ring as we get ready for our main event. Sheamus and Rollins argue over who should start the match. The champ gets the honors, but Sheamus quickly tags himself in after a ¨friendy¨ slap on the back. Sheamus grabs the mic on the outside, which is becoming a common theme in recent weeks, telling the crowd to shut up and insisting that he does not look stupid.

**Break**

Sheamus and Rollins take turns beating on Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe is finally able to hit a big neck breaker on Sheamus and make the hot tag to Reigns. Reigns clears the ring and has the champ on his heels. Rollins scampers to the corner but Sheamus steps off the apron and leaves him hanging. The Great White grabs his briefcase and starts heading toward the ramp. Ambrose dives thru the ropes to take Sheamus out. A superman punch from Reigns, followed by Dirty Deeds from Ambrose seals the victory for the former Shield members. The lights go out and the Wyatts appear on the Titan Tron. After a brief sermon by Bray, Braun Strowman instructs Reigns and Ambrose to ¨run¨ and the show ends.
