Steve Austin is getting a lot of press for throwing his support behind same-sex marriage on a recent episode of his podcast. USA Today's "For the Win" blog posted a couple of excerpts from Austin.

"I believe that any human being in America, or any human being in the [expletive] world, that wants to be married, and if it's same-sex, more power to 'em."

Austin also ranted on the church's opposition:

“What also chaps my [expletive], some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that.’ Which one of these [people] talked to God, and God said that same-sex marriage was a no-can-do?”

Deadspin uploaded audio from Austin's podcast and uploaded it on SoundCloud. We've included that audio below but please be advised it includes explicit language:

Richard Reacts: It's very important for people such as Steve Austin to speak up in support of same-sex marriage and I applaud him for doing so. Equality is crucial and it's my hope to see same-sex marriages recognized in all 50 US states sooner than later. The fact it has been shunned for so long based on what people perceive as "different" is asinine. If one's religious views do not believe in same-sex marriage, then don't get one. However, to prevent others with different beliefs from marrying the person they love is absurd and in the words of Austin, doesn't jive with me.
