In an interview with Complex, Steve Austin talked about the time at Wrestlemania 23 when both he and Donald Trump were brought in to take part in an angle involving McMahon and Trump. In a "Battle of the Billionaires," Trump's representative Bobby Lashley defeated McMahon's representative (the late) Umaga and thus, McMahon's head was to be shaved bald. Stone Cold served as the referee and made sure that the haircut went down. After the contest though, in typical Stone Cold fashion, he dropped the now-President of the United States with the Stone Cold Stunner.
Austin said that it was Vince McMahon who first approached him and brought up the idea of Trump taking the move before even consulting him about it to see if he'd agree to it. Vince then introduced Donald to Steve and it didn't take a whole lot of selling to get Trump to agree to it despite his people telling him absolutely not. Austin admits it wasn't the best Stunner but gives credit to Trump for making an attempt at it.
