WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is still in jail in Carbon County, PA, where she has been incarcerated since September 23, 2016.
Sytch was sentenced on Aug. 18, 2016 for charges of Driving Under the Influence from separate encounters with law enforcement last year. Judge Joseph J Matika sentenced her to serve 97 days to five years in prison but gave her credit for time served - 95 days in rehab and two days in jail. Sytch was then placed on probation for five years, which left her subject to bi-weekly drug and alcohol testing.
Less than three weeks after being sentenced, Sytch was changed with receiving stolen property by the Lehigh Township Police on September 5, 2016. A week later on September 12, she was charged with possession of alcohol and being under the influence of alcohol. This same day she claimed on her Facebook account she was rushed to the hospital in Palmerton, PA due to issues with her pancreas.
Sytch was released from the hospital on September 20, 2016 but returned on September 23 when police were called to her home. According to court records, she was once against under the influence of alcohol, making it her third probation violation. She was then transported from the hospital to the Carbon County Correctional Facility and has been there ever since.
It certainly looks like Sytch could be headed to prison given Judge Joseph J Matika’s zero tolerance for her consuming alcohol.
