Triple H confirmed in a conference call on Tuesday that Sami Zayn is cleared to compete at WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable on Wednesday night. Hideo Itami, on the other hand, is not and will not work the show.
Both have reportedly been dealing with shoulder injuries, with Itami’s believed to be severe.
Zayn was injured during his debut on Monday Night Raw, while pumping up the crowd before a match with John Cena.
Itami hasn't worked since April 30, 2015 and specifics regarding his injury were not made available, with several weeks of NXT programming already in the can. We first made mention he could be out 6-8 months here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com.
Hunter reassured that Itami will be represented from a storyline perspective.
