Titus O’Neil’s suspension from WWE has been reduced from 90-days to 60-days the New York Post has confirmed.
The company has officially labeled the reason for the suspension as “unprofessional conduct” after O’Neil playfully grabbed Vince McMahon on the ramp at this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
The New York Post wonders if there is a racial component to the suspension and highlighted backlash from fans that claim Vince McMahon is a racist. WWE issued a statement on those claims:
“The suspension of Titus O’Neil had nothing to do with race and everything to do with unprofessional conduct,”
They also told the Post that O’Neil sent a text message that read as follows:
“I feel like sh– now so if you have to let me go, I understand. Stupid mistake,” he wrote, according to WWE.
