Triple H Introduces New WWE Performance Center In Orlando, Florida

Triple H, alongside Florida Governor Rick Scott and Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs announced WWE's new "Performance Center" at a news conference Thursday morning. It was announced the new facility, located in Orlando, will replace the company's current developmental facility in Tampa.

Hunter confirmed previous WNW Premium reports that the 26,000-square-foot facility would feature seven wrestling rings and its own strength-and-conditioning and physical-therapy areas.

The facility will also strengthen WWE's relationship with Full Sail University as Full Sail students will learn about TV production from the facility's sound stage. The school's president, Gary Jones, was on hand for the announcement.

The WWE Performance Center is expected to have an economic impact as well as it's expected to employ about 100 people, creating 16 new full-time jobs. WWE is not receiving incentive funding from the state. The open is expected for some time this summer.
