Triple H Skips Out On Kayfabe Interview, To Appear On Smackdown

This week's kayfabe Triple H interview with Michael Cole didn't happen as Hunter "couldn't make it" due to an "emergency meeting." You can watch Cole roll solo at this link.

Below is a recap:

  • Cole sets the stage by catching everyone up on the Occupy Raw movement with Daniel Bryan on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw. They rolled footage from Raw where Bryan made his Wrestlemania request.
  • After the footage, Cole explained that if Bryan beats Triple H at Wrestlemania XXX, he'll be added to Batista vs. Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Cole reminded that it was in last week's kayfabe interview that Hunter said he would never give Daniel Bryan a Wrestlemania match against him. He questioned if it was Occupy Raw or if Triple H wanted to end the Yes Movement himself?
  • Cole is then informed, "Hunter's not coming" and is handed an email on a phone. Cole said it reads, "Dear Brian (their producer), I regret I will not be able to attend your interview. I got called into an emergency meeting about the WWE Network - but please let my fans know I will be a part of Friday Night Smackdown this week where I will address the situation with Daniel Bryan. Regretfully, Triple H"
  • Michael said that he can't say he's surprised and hopefully Triple H will join us next week.
