TMZ has an update on Brodus Clay following his release from WWE on Thursday. The publication reports that Clay is going to Japan to protect dolphins from being captured and killed.
He's booked the trip to protest dolphin hunting, something he's been passionate about since seeing "The Cove."
While "bummed" about losing his job with WWE, Brodus plans to pursue a career in acting and wants to write a book.

Richard Reacts: I truly believe WWE missed the boat with Brodus Clay. There aren't many workers that could have gotten the Funkasaurus gimmick over and he took it further than I think anyone thought he could. It seemed like he was going to breakout under the heel role he should have had to begin with but was relegated back to NXT and ultimately released. He's a talented guy and has already had a good career (he was Snoop Dogg's bodyguard). I believe there will be opportunities for him in acting and getting released from WWE will probably open up other opportunities.
