As CJ reported over the weekend here at WrestlingNewsWorld.com, both Adam Rose and Konnor were suspended for 60 days a piece for what was each their second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. What confused readers is that WWE never previously announced Wellness violations for Rose or Konnor.
Konnor was first suspended in 2006, when he was working as a WWE developmental talent in Deep South Wrestling. This was a year before the company began to publicly announce Wellness Policy violations.
Rose was suspended back in 2013 but was a developmental wrestler. No formal announcement was made.
There is no set protocol for announcing Wellness Policy failures as WWE has announced developmental violators before but they’ve kept others quiet. The entire system is flawed and leaves much to be desired. It has cleaned the locker room up, which is a good thing, but it's far from Olympic drug testing.
